5 грудня 2024 року кафедра філософії та суспільних наук ПДМУ провела зустріч з полтавськими активістами-волонтерами ГО «Полтавська обласна організація інвалідів війни, Збройних Сил, учасників бойових дій та силових структур» Сергієм Мелешко та Романом Жорником, присвячену Міжнародному дню волонтера. Під час зустрічі було урочисто передано воїну 116 обр 144 батальйону 3 кВт генератор, придбаний за зібрані донати студентами та викладачами ПДМУ. У виховному заході взяли участь українські та зарубіжні здобувачі освіти ОПП «Медицина», ОПП «Стоматологія» та ОПП «Медсестринство».

The indomitable spirit of the volunteer front

On December 5, 2024, the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the PSMU held a meeting with Poltava volunteer activists of the NGO "Poltava Regional Organization of War Invalids, Armed Forces, Participants of Combat Actions and Law Enforcement Agencies" Serhiy Meleshko and Roman Zhornyk, dedicated to the International Volunteer Day. During the meeting, a 3 kW generator purchased with donations collected by students and teachers of the PSMU was solemnly handed over to a soldier of the 116th regiment of the 144th battalion. Ukrainian and foreign students of the EPP "Medicine", EPP "Dentistry" and EPP "Nursing" took part in the educational event.
