Є в долі кожної нації люди, яким відведено роль її творців, провідників. Імена цих людей записані в книгу історії кожного народу, непідвладні ні часу, ні злому слову. До таких людей, геніїв нашої історії й культури належить Іван Нечуй-Левицький – письменник, який незмінно стоїть в авангарді української літератури.
25 листопада минуло 185 років від дня народження видатного й самобутнього українського прозаїка, етнографа і педагога. На кафедрі українознавства та гуманітарної підготовки ПДМУ в цей день відбувся онлайн виховний захід «Іван Нечуй-Левицький. Життя митця і його творчість як новий імпульс української літератури» за участі здобувачів вищої освіти 1 курсу стоматологічного факультету групи 1 і кураторки групи (доц. Шевченко О .М.)
Студенти пригадали основні етапи життя і творчості письменника, його громадянську й життєву позицію, роль митця в духовному відродженні нації. І нині не втрачають гострої актуальності його статті «Непотрібність великоруської літератури для України і для словʼянщини» (1878 рік) і «Українство на літературних позвах з Московщиною» (1891 рік). Майбутні лікарі активно коментували оцінку І. Франком творчої спадщини Івана Нечуя-Левицького. Мета виховного заходу – утвердження високих моральних цінностей, прагнення зберегти кращі надбання історії й української культури.
Together with the Curator: Commemorating a Significant Date - 185 Years since the Birth of the Distinguished and Unique Ukrainian Prosaic, Ethnographer and Educator Ivan Nechui-Levytskyi
In the destiny of every nation, there are individuals entrusted with the role of its creators and leaders. The names of these people are inscribed in the history of each nation, impervious to both time and unfavorable words. Among such individuals, the geniuses of our history and culture, is Ivan Nechui-Levytskyi - a writer who consistently stands at the forefront of Ukrainian literature.
On November 25, 185 years passed since the birth of the distinguished and unique Ukrainian prose writer, ethnographer and educator. To commemorate this date the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanities at the Poltava State Medical University, hold an online educational event "Ivan Nechui-Levytskyi: The Life of the Artist and His Work as a New Impulse in Ukrainian Literature" for the first-year students of Group 1, the Faculty of Dentistry, and their group curator (Assoc. Prof. Shevchenko O. M.).
The students recalled the main stages of the writer's life and creativity, his civic and life position, and the role of the artist in the spiritual revival of the nation. Even today, his articles "The Inappropriateness of Great Russian Literature for Ukraine and for the Slavic World" (1878) and "Ukrainianism in Literary Quarrels with Muscovy" (1891) remain highly relevant. Future doctors actively commented on Ivan Franko's assessment of Ivan Nechui-Levytskyi's creative legacy. The purpose of the educational event is to affirm high moral values and the desire to preserve the best achievements of history and Ukrainian culture.
