14-17 жовтня в м. Копенгагені (Королівство Данія) відбувся 31-ий Об’єднаний європейський гастроентерологічний тиждень, у роботі якого взяв участь проректор ЗВО з науково-педагогічної роботи та післядипломної освіти, професор кафедри внутрішньої медицини №1 Ігор Скрипник.
У роботі конгресу взяли участь 11 001 делегат зі 119 країн світу, з них 12% – в онлайн форматі. Україну представляли 33 науковці.
14-15 жовтня, саме з курсу післядипломної освіти, традиційно розпочалась наукова програма заходу.
Учасники конгресу були зацікавлені та ознайомились із сучасними досягненнями й перспективами розвитку гастроентерології та ендоскопії, відвідуючи наукові пленарні засідання, курс післядипломної освіти, презентації постерних доповідей, симпозіуми провідних фармацевтичних компаній світу.
Найбільшу зацікавленість у лікарів викликали сесії, які були присвячені аналізу помилок у діагностиці та тактиці лікування хворих із гастроентерологічною патологією, питанням харчування, психотерапевтичних підходів у лікуванні функціональних захворювань, новітнім методам візуалізації, сучасним ендоскопічним технологіям, аналізу клінічних випадків.
Ігор Скрипник презентував постерну доповідь, присвячену оцінці впливу s-адеметіоніну на рівень плазмового цитруліну у хворих із хронічними лімфопроліферативними захворюваннями на фоні діареї, індукованої хімієтерапевтичними засобами (співавтори – Ганна Маслова, Роман Скрипник).
14 жовтня президент Української гастроентерологічної асоціації, член комітету національних асоціацій UEG, професор Ігор Скрипник брав участь у засіданні Форуму національних асоціацій UEG, де обговорювались актуальні питання синдрому «вигорання» поміж гастроентерологів, питання «зеленої» (екологічної) гастроентерології. Також взяв участь у виборах членів комітету на вакантне місце на конкурсній основі.
Науковець у процесі робочих зустрічей особисто подякував президенту UEG Helena Cortez-Pinto та керівництву UEG за можливість для всіх охочих українських лікарів долучитися до конгресу у форматі онлайн, шляхом безоплатної реєстрації.
16 жовтня відбувся урочистий прийом з нагоди 31-ої річниці UEG конгресу, який проходив у приміщенні цирку Копенгагену. Відбулось нагородження переможців у номінаціях UEG за 2023 рік.
Президентом UEG на 2024-2025 роки обрано відомого професора Каролінського університету у галузі панкреатології Mathias Lohr (Стокгольм, Швеція).
Наступний, 32-ий Об’єднаний європейський гастроентерологічний тиждень відбудеться у м. Відні з 12 по 15 жовтня 2024 року.
Outcomes of the 31 United European Gastroenterology Week (UEGWeek 2023)
From October 14 to 17, the 31 United European Gastroenterology Week took place in Copenhagen, Denmark. Professor Ihor Skrypnyk, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Education, participated in the event.
The congress was attended by 11,001 delegates from 119 countries, with 12% participating online. Ukraine was represented by 33 scientists.
The scientific program of the event traditionally started on October 14t-15 with the postgraduate education course.
Participants of the congress showed great interest and familiarized themselves with the modern achievements and prospects of development in gastroenterology and endoscopy by attending scientific plenary sessions, postgraduate education courses, poster presentations and symposia held by leading pharmaceutical companies worldwide.
Sessions dedicated to the analysis of diagnostic errors and treatment tactics for patients with gastroenterological pathologies, nutritional issues, psychotherapeutic approaches to treating functional disorders, cutting-edge visualization methods and modern endoscopic technologies garnered the most interest among physicians.
Ihor Skrypnyk presented a poster report on the evaluation of the impact of S-adenosylmethionine on the level of plasma citrulline in patients with chronic lymphoproliferative disorders in the context of chemotherapy-induced diarrhea (co-authors: Hanna Maslova, Roman Skrypnyk).
On October 14, Professor Ihor Skrypnyk, President of the Ukrainian Gastroenterological Association, member of the National Associations Committee of UEG, participated in the meeting of the UEG National Associations Forum, where current issues of "burnout" syndrome among gastroenterologists and "green" (ecological) gastroenterology were discussed. He also participated in the election of committee members on a competitive basis.
During working meetings, the scientist personally thanked UEG President Helena Cortez-Pinto and the UEG leadership for providing all interested Ukrainian physicians with the opportunity to join the congress online through free registration.
On October 16, a solemn reception was held to mark the 31st anniversary of the UEG congress, which took place in the Copenhagen circus building. The winners of the UEG awards for 2023 were announced.
Mathias Lohr, a renowned Professor of Karolinska Institute specializing in pancreatology from Stockholm, Sweden, was elected as the UEG President for 2024-2025.
The next, 32 United European Gastroenterology Week will be held in Vienna from October 12 to 15, 2024.
