Звично, що на кафедрі дитячої терапевтичної стоматології пацієнтами є маленькі діти, але це не завжди так. В Україні, особи віком до 18 років вважаються дітьми, тому пацієнтами майбутніх стоматологів на кафедрі можуть бути всі до цього віку. Лікування стоматологічних хвороб дітей старшого шкільного віку, схоже до лікування дорослих, але все ж таки має свої особливості.

Під керівництвом викладача кафедри дитячої терапевтичної стоматології Марини Садовські, здобувачі вищої освіти циклу дитячої терапевтичної стоматології (2 група 4 курс), застосували кофердам і якісно вилікували хронічний середній карієс зуба 36.

PSMU Students Learn to Treat Teeth Effectively

It is customary for the Department of Pediatric Therapeutic Dentistry to have young children as patients, but this is not always the case. In Ukraine, individuals under the age of 18 are considered children, so future dentists at the Department can treat patients of any age up to this limit. The treatment of dental diseases in older school-age children is similar to treating adults but still has its peculiarities.

Under the guidance of Maryna Sadovski, the faculty member of the Department of Pediatric Therapeutic Dentistry, the 4-year students pursuing higher education in pediatric therapeutic dentistry (Group 2) applied rubber dam techniques and effectively treated chronic moderate caries in tooth 36.
