16-го листопада на кафедрі  сімейної медицини і терапії відбулася виховна година присвячена 185-ій річниці дня народження І.С. Нечуя-Левицького. Під час заходу здобувачі освіти дізналися більше про життя та творчість письменника.

До слова, Івана Нечуй-Левицького називають корифеєм української прози. Він – автор «Кайдашевої сім’ї», перекладач – разом із Пантелеймоном Кулішем та Іваном Пулюєм здійснив перший україномовний переклад Біблії. І. Баштовий, А. Глаголь, О. Криницький, Іван Нечуй – такими були літературні псевдоніми Івана Левицького. Сучасники згадували особливості його поведінки: завжди носив парасольку, щодня зранку прогулювався одним маршрутом. Жодна подія не ставала на заваді звичці вкладатись спати в один і той же час. Нечуй-Левицький написав понад п’ятдесят високохудожніх романів, повістей, оповідань, п’єс, казок, нарисів, гуморесок, літературно-критичних статей тощо.

Educational Class for Students Dedicated to the 185th Anniversary of Ivan Nechui-Levytskyi's Birth

On November 16, at the Department of Family Medicine and Therapy, an educational class was held dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Nechui-Levytskyi. During the event, the students learned more about the life and work of the writer.

Ivan Nechui-Levytskyi is considered a luminary of Ukrainian prose. He is the author of "The Kaidash Family," and, together with Panteleimon Kulish and Ivan Puliui, he translated the Bible into Ukrainian for the first time. Ivan Levytskyi used several literary pseudonyms, including I. Bashtovyi, A. Hlahol, O. Krynytskyi, Ivan Nechui.  Contemporaries recalled peculiarities of his behavior: he always carried an umbrella, walked the same route every morning and adhered to a specific bedtime regardless of events. Nechui-Levytskyi wrote over fifty high artistic novels, stories, fairy tales, sketches, humoristic pieces, literary-critical articles and more.
