Background

Igor  Kaidashev  is  a  Ukrainian  immunologist  and  allergist,  Vice-Rector  for  Research  and Development and Professor  of  the  Department  of  Internal  Medicine  No.3  with  Phthisiology at Poltava State Medical University.
He is the author and co-author of more than 800 scientific and research works, of which 167 articles are  in  journals  indexed  by  "Scopus"  database  (h-index:  31) and  over  100  certificates  and  patents for inventions.
Professor Igor Kaidashev is a member of the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS),World  Allergy  Organization  (WAO),  the  American  College  of  Allergy,  Asthma  and  Immunology(ACAAI);  the  European  Academy  of  Allergology  and  Clinical Immunology  (EAACI),Commission  of  Medical  Sciences  (Polish  Academy  of  Sciences). He  is  a  member  of Executive Board of INTERASMA – Global Asthma Association (GAA).
He  has  extensive  expertise  in  international  networking  and  the  development  of  global  health initiatives, including “ARIA” (Allergic Rhinitis and its Impact on Asthma), “MACVIA” (Fighting Chronic Diseases for Active and Healthy Ageing), the European Innovation Partnership on Active and  Healthy  Ageing  (EIP  on  AHA),  and  UCRAID  (Ukrainian  Citizen  and  Refugee  Electronic Support  in  Respiratory  Diseases,  Allergy,  Immunology,  and  Dermatology).  These  initiatives  have been carried out in collaboration with Dr. Jean Bousquet (University of Montpellier, France), along with joint research projects with the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany.
