Teaching and Clinical Practice
Dr. Vira Kuroiedova holds the position of Head of the Department of Postgraduate Education of Orthodontists at Poltava State Medical University. She is involved in the training of postgraduate trainees and interns and provides clinical consultations and treatment at the department’s clinical base — the Municipal Institution “Poltava Regional Center of Dentistry – Dental Clinical Outpatient Clinic” of the Poltava Regional Council.
She holds the highest qualification category as an orthodontist.
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Vira Kuroiedova has authored more than 440 scientific publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Her scientific output includes articles indexed in international databases such as Scopus and Web of Science, conference abstracts, monographs, and educational-methodological manuals.
With her participation, 53 internship, specialization, and advanced training programs in “Orthodontics” have been developed and approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Dr. Vira Kuroiedova is the author of 440 scientific publications, including 10 monographs, 25 patents, 27 certificates of authorship, 10 innovations, and 5 informational bulletins.
She has over 560 citations on Google Scholar and is ranked among the leading researchers of the university according to the Scopus h-index. She actively participates in international and national scientific forums, dental and morphological conferences, presenting research findings. She supervises research projects of trainees, interns, and young researchers, contributing to the development of the next generation of professionals.
