Background

Tetyana Kryuchko is a scientist in the field of pediatrics, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 at Poltava State Medical University.

He is the author and co-author of more than 600 scientific and research works, of which 37 articles are in journals indexed by "Scopus" database (h-index: 5) and over 40 newsletters, patents and innovations.

The main areas of scientific activity of T. Kryuchko are related to the current problems of modern pediatrics, concerning aspects of diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the hepatobiliary system in children, genetic mechanisms of development of allergic, nephrological and gastroenterological diseases. T. Kryuchko not only actively generates scientific ideas, but also persistently and consistently implements them in life. A significant contribution has been made to the study of unsolved issues of diagnostics, treatment, prevention of bronchopulmonary pathology, increasing the effectiveness of timely diagnostics of nephrological and gastroenterological diseases of young children and adolescents, and introducing new treatment methods. Thanks to these developments, the diagnostic capabilities of the somatic departments of the medical institution, where the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 is located, have been enriched. Under the leadership and with the direct participation of T. Kryuchko, research with international participation is being conducted. Under the scientific guidance of T. Kryuchko, 15 candidates of medical sciences, 2 doctors of philosophy, 14 masters of medicine, 14 clinical residents have been trained.
