Background

Vadim Novikov is a Ukrainian dental surgeon and orthopedic dentist, head of the Department of Propaedeutics of Surgical Dentistry, Professor of the Department of Orthopedic Dentistry at Poltava State Medical University. Author and co-author of more than 140 scientific and research papers, including articles in journals indexed by the Scopus database (Hirsch index: 4), and about 10 certificates and patents for inventions. Professor Vadim Novikov is an expert of the National Agency for Education Quality, was the vice-president of the "Association of Digital Dentistry" of Zaporizhia, the head of the state certification commissions for dentistry in Luhansk and Uzhgorod in 2013, 2019, 2020, 2021. He has extensive experience in the field of gnathology, treatment of temporomandibular joint diseases, bruxism, manufacturing of occlusal splints and occlusion correction. These initiatives were implemented in collaboration with Dr. Mikhail Volgin (Private Danube University, Krems, Austria), Dr. Yarina Eder (Medical University of Vienna), Professor Christoph Turp (Medical University of Basel), as well as within the framework of joint educational projects with the Danube Private University, Krems, Austria)
