Background

Valentyn Dvornyk is a Ukrainian dentist and researcher, First Vice-Rector and Professor of the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Implantology at Poltava State Medical University.

He is the author and co-author of more than 200 scientific and research works, of which 23 articles are in journals indexed by "Scopus" database.

Professor Valentyn Dvornyk is a member of the Ukrainian Dental Association.

Professor Dvornik made a significant contribution to the study of topical issues of diagnostics and orthopedic treatment of patients with a decreasing occlusion, mechanisms of adaptation to orthopedic structures that provide optimal occlusion height and increase the effectiveness of prosthetics. He launched a new direction in solving the acute problems of modern dentistry, which consists in a well-grounded approach to providing specialized care to patients with persistent morphofunctional disorders by developing the conceptual foundations for the manufacture of dental prosthetic structures aimed at restructuring the reflexes of the dentition and establishing a dynamic stereotype of the chewing process.
