Vitalii Liakhovskyi is a professor at the Department of Surgery No. 1 of Poltava State Medical University.

He is the author and co-author of over 600 scientific and research papers, of which 43 scientific papers are published in journals indexed by the "Scopus" database (h-index: 0), 2 monographs, and over 60 certificates and patents for inventions.

Professor Vitalii Liakhovskyi is a member of the Association of Vascular Surgeons, Phlebologists and Angiologists of Ukraine.
