Volodymyr Likhachov is a Ukrainian obstetrician-gynecologist, head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 2 of Poltava State Medical University.

He is the author and co-author of over 350 scientific and research papers, of which 50 articles are in journals indexed by the "Scopus" database (h-index: 4) and "Web of Science", 17 patents for inventions.. Author of 8 textbooks on obstetrics and gynecology, 6 large manuals for practicing physicians (2007-2022), 3 monographs.

Under his supervision, 3 thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy were defended, a Postdoctoral thesis and 2 thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy are currently being completed.

A doctor of the highest category with 49 years of practical work experience (including abroad).
