24 березня 2026 року викладачі кафедри внутрішньої медицини №3 з фтизіатрією – Анатолій Ярешко, Марина Куліш, Наталія Дігтяр, Анна Лавренко та Наталія Герасименко – у рамках обласного місячника боротьби з туберкульозом провели інформаційний захід «Всесвітній день боротьби з туберкульозом – День білої ромашки» для студентів 10 групи 3 курсу стоматологічного факультету та лікарів-інтернів 216 групи фаху «Внутрішні хвороби».
Під час заходу викладачі розповіли історію відкриття збудника туберкульозу та походження Дня білої ромашки, клінічні прояви хвороби, зокрема на слизових оболонках ротової порожнини, а також методи діагностики та профілактики туберкульозу. Особливу увагу приділили важливості чуйного та недискримінаційного ставлення до людей, які зіткнулися з хворобою, для подолання стигматизації – «хвороба не обирає за соціальним статусом».
По завершенні теоретичної частини учасники відвідали консультативно-діагностичне відділення №1 та бактеріологічну лабораторію Комунального підприємства «Обласний клінічний медичний центр соціально небезпечних захворювань Полтавської обласної ради», де мали змогу ознайомитися з усіма сучасними методами діагностики туберкульозу, що проводяться щодня у закладі.

March 24 – World Tuberculosis Day: PSMU on Prevention and Patient Support
On March 24, 2026, lecturers of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 with Phthisiology—Anatolii Yareshko, Maryna Kulish, Nataliia Dihtiar, Anna Lavrenko, and Nataliia Herasymenko—held an informational event titled “World Tuberculosis Day – White Daisy Day” as part of the regional tuberculosis awareness month. The event was organized for third-year dental students (Group 10) and medical interns (Group 216) specializing in Internal Medicine.
During the event, the lecturers spoke about the history of the discovery of the tuberculosis pathogen and the origins of White Daisy Day, the clinical manifestations of the disease—including those affecting the oral mucosa—as well as current methods of tuberculosis diagnosis and prevention. Special attention was paid to the importance of a compassionate and non-discriminatory attitude toward people affected by the disease in order to overcome stigma - “the disease does not choose by social status.”
Following the theoretical part, participants visited Consultative and Diagnostic Department No. 1 and the bacteriological laboratory of the Municipal Enterprise “Regional Clinical Medical Center for Socially Dangerous Diseases” of the Poltava Regional Council, where they had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with all modern tuberculosis diagnostic methods routinely used at the facility.
