24 квітня 2026 року в.о. завідувача кафедри філософії та суспільних наук ПДМУ Вікторія Каюн та викладач Світлана Перун організували виховний захід для майбутніх фахівців галузі охорони здоров’я.
Здобувачі вищої освіти ОПП «Фізична терапія, ерготерапія» та «Стоматологія» зібралися, щоб вшанувати 40-у річницю Чорнобильської катастрофи – трагедії, яка назавжди змінила світ.
Центральною подією заходу став перегляд документального фільму «Чорнобиль 1986: що насправді відбувалося під час ліквідації». Стрічка, створена на основі архівних матеріалів, дозволила студентам зануритися в атмосферу весни 1986 року та ознайомитися з етапами ліквідації наслідків аварії.
Фільм став не лише хронікою подій, а й символом вдячності та глибокої поваги ліквідаторам, які ціною власного здоров’я та життя захистили людство від наслідків катастрофи.
Захід має важливе значення для освітнього середовища та формування особистості майбутніх лікарів. Усвідомлення наслідків радіаційних катастроф є важливим складником професійної підготовки, адже допомагає зрозуміти довготривалий вплив екологічних чинників на здоров’я населення.
Вшанування 40-ї річниці трагедії сприяє збереженню історичної пам’яті, а приклад ліквідаторів демонструє найвищий рівень професійного обов’язку та самопожертви.

40 Years of Remembrance: Medical Students Honored the Heroism of the Chernobyl Disaster Liquidators
On April 24, 2026, Acting Head of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences at PSMU, Viktoriia Kaiun, together with lecturer Svitlana Perun, organized an educational event for future healthcare professionals.
Students of the educational and professional programs “Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy” and “Dentistry” gathered to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster — a tragedy that forever changed the world.
The central part of the event was a screening of the documentary film “Chernobyl 1986: What Really Happened During the Liquidation.” Created on the basis of archival materials, the film allowed students to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the spring of 1986 and to learn about the stages of liquidation (response and mitigation) of the accident’s consequences.
The film became not only a chronicle of events, but also a symbol of gratitude and deep respect for the liquidators, who, at the cost of their own health and lives, protected humanity from the consequences of the catastrophe.
The event holds significant value for the educational environment and the formation of future doctors. Awareness of the consequences of radiation disasters is an important component of professional training, as it helps to understand the long-term impact of environmental factors on public health.
Commemorating the 40th anniversary of the tragedy contributes to preserving historical memory, while the example of the liquidators demonstrates the highest level of professional duty and self-sacrifice.
