1 травня 2026 року на кафедрі ортодонтії ПДМУ професор Марина Дмитренко провела виховну годину зі студентами 4 групи 3 курсу на тему «Академічна та професійна доброчесність при використанні штучного інтелекту в ортодонтії».
Під час заняття в аудиторії обговорювали роль штучного інтелекту в сучасному освітньому процесі та його вплив на формування професійних компетентностей майбутніх лікарів-стоматологів. Увагу було зосереджено на тому, що в умовах активного використання ШІ поняття «доброчесність» набуває особливо практичного значення в навчанні.
У ході обговорення наголошувалося, що використання штучного інтелекту для виконання практичних завдань без їхнього аналізу не сприяє формуванню клінічного мислення та може позбавляти студента самостійного опрацювання матеріалу. Студенти розглядали можливості використання ШІ як «доброчесної допомоги» для структурування інформації та підтримки навчального процесу, наголошуючи, що ефективне навчання передбачає керування інструментом, а не його використання для імітації знань студента.
Окрему увагу приділено ролі майбутнього лікаря у забезпеченні безпеки пацієнта. Підкреслено, що доброчесність лікаря передбачає критичне ставлення до будь-яких програмних рішень і відмову від їх використання без належної перевірки. Остаточна верифікація та клінічні рішення залишаються особистою відповідальністю фахівця.
У підсумку заняття професор Марина Дмитренко наголосила, що лише розвиток критичного мислення та професійної зрілості дає змогу відповідально інтегрувати штучний інтелект і забезпечувати захист конфіденційності пацієнта.

Academic Integrity and Artificial Intelligence in Orthodontics: Educational Session at PSMU
On May 1, 2026, at the Department of Orthodontics of PSMU, Professor Maryna Dmytrenko held an educational session with students of group 4, 3rd year of study, on the topic “Academic and Professional Integrity in the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Orthodontics.”
During the session, the role of artificial intelligence in the modern educational process and its impact on the development of professional competencies of future dental practitioners were discussed in the classroom. Particular attention was given to the fact that in the context of the active use of AI, the concept of “integrity” gains especially practical significance in education.
The discussion emphasized that using artificial intelligence to complete practical assignments without proper analysis does not contribute to the development of clinical reasoning and may deprive students of independent engagement with the learning material. Students explored the possibilities of using AI as “ethical assistance” for structuring information and supporting the learning process, stressing that effective learning implies controlling the tool rather than using it to simulate knowledge.
Special attention was paid to the role of the future physician in ensuring patient safety. It was highlighted that a physician’s integrity requires a critical attitude toward any software-based recommendations and a refusal to use them without appropriate verification. Final verification and clinical decision-making remain the personal responsibility of the specialist.
In conclusion, Professor Maryna Dmytrenko emphasized that only the development of critical thinking and professional maturity enables the responsible integration of artificial intelligence while ensuring the protection of patient confidentiality.
