Poltava State Medical University invites everyone to attend the lecture “Antimicrobial Resistance: History, Present, and Future Prospects”, dedicated to the World Antibiotic Awareness Week.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Ruslan Volodymyrovych Lutsenko, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Pharmacology at PSMU.

The event is organized by representatives of the Ukrainian Medical Students’ Association (UMSA), the UMSA-Poltava local committee, in cooperation with the Committee on Medical Education and the Department of Pharmacology of PSMU.

During the lecture, students will learn about the origins of the problem of antimicrobial resistance, current challenges for the healthcare system, and possible strategies to overcome them.
