6 травня 2026 року на кафедрі пропедевтики хірургічної стоматології ПДМУ відбулася патріотично-виховна година, присвячена Дню піхоти України. Захід провели доцент Олена Дубровіна, асистент Олег Горбаченко та відповідальна за виховну роботу кафедри Анна Торопова. Безпосередню участь у заході взяли також здобувачі вищої освіти 3 курсу 13 групи стоматологічного факультету.
Під час заходу було наголошено, що День піхоти України є символом мужності, незламності та жертовного служіння українських воїнів, які щодня боронять державу та стоять на захисті її незалежності й свободи.
Емоційним акцентом заходу став авторський вірш «На честь Піхоти України» доцента Олени Дубровіної, який вона прочитала для учасників заходу. У поетичних рядках звучала щира вдячність українським захисникам та захисницям за можливість молоді навчатися, розвиватися та будувати майбутнє у вільній Україні. Особливу увагу у творі приділено ролі майбутніх лікарів, які підтримуватимуть військовослужбовців своїми професійними знаннями та людяністю.
Здобувач вищої освіти Дмитро Шимчій також представив власний авторський вірш, присвячений мужності, силі духу та незламності української піхоти.
Наприкінці заходу пролунали слова вдячності українським військовослужбовцям за захист кожного метра української землі та наголос на важливості їхньої служби для молоді та всіх українців.
Проведення таких ініціатив сприяє формуванню патріотичної свідомості молоді, утвердженню поваги до захисників України та збереженню національних цінностей.

Author’s Poetry and Words of Gratitude: PSMU Marks the Day of Ukrainian Infantry
On May 6, 2026, the Department of Propaedeutics of Oral Surgery at PSMU held a patriotic educational event dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Infantry. The event was organized by Associate Professor Olena Dubrovina, Assistant Oleh Horbachenko, and Anna Toropova, who is responsible for the department’s educational work. Third-year students of Group 13 of the Faculty of Dentistry also actively participated in the event.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the Day of Ukrainian Infantry symbolizes the courage, resilience, and selfless service of Ukrainian soldiers who defend the country every day and stand guard over its independence and freedom.
An emotional highlight of the event was the author’s poem “In Honor of the Ukrainian Infantry” written and recited by Associate Professor Olena Dubrovina. The poetic lines expressed sincere gratitude to Ukrainian defenders for giving young people the opportunity to study, grow, and build their future in a free Ukraine. Special attention in the poem was paid to the role of future doctors, who will support military personnel with their professional knowledge and humanity.
Student Dmytro Shymchii also presented his own original poem dedicated to the courage, strength of spirit, and resilience of the Ukrainian infantry.
At the end of the event, words of gratitude were expressed to Ukrainian service members for defending every meter of Ukrainian land, and the importance of their service for young people and all Ukrainians was emphasized.
Such initiatives contribute to the development of patriotic awareness among young people, strengthen respect for the defenders of Ukraine, and preserve national values.
