Щоразу, коли сонце ховається за обрієм, на небі спалахують зірки, нагадуючи про героїв та богинь, чиї легенди пройшли крізь віки. Міфи — це не просто історії минулого, а дзеркало людської душі, її прагнення до світла, гармонії та сили. І саме ця магія ожила на сцені під час найзагадковішого та найчарівнішого заходу року — конкурсу краси, інтелекту і таланту «Міс ПДМУ 2025», який став можливим завдяки ініціативі та старанням Студентського парламенту ПДМУ.
Цього вечора конкурсантки перетворилися на справжніх богинь. Вони вражали не лише своєю зовнішньою красою, а й глибиною думок, силою характеру та багатогранністю талантів. Від величного Олімпу до містичних земель Сходу, від скандинавських легенд до давньоєгипетських таємниць — сцена Полтавського академічного симфонічного оркестру стала порталом у світ міфології, де кожна з учасниць уособлювала свою власну легенду.
Але «Міс ПДМУ 2025» був не лише святом естетики та грації. Захід мав благодійний характер - глядачі мали можливість зробити внесок на підтримку Збройних Сил України. Урочисте дійство розпочалося Хвилиною мовчання на честь загиблих Захисників і Захисниць та всіх невинно загиблих українців. Окремим символічним етапом став аукціон унікального лота – розписаного військового знаряддя, що стало знаком незламності. Усі зібрані кошти будуть передані на допомогу українським військовим.
Кожен етап конкурсу став справжнім випробуванням, яке вимагало від дівчат не лише краси, а й харизми, інтелекту, творчості та сміливості. За звання «Міс ПДМУ 2025» змагалися семеро учасниць – студентки різних факультетів та курсів університету.
Першим випробуванням стала «Візитівка», де кожна з конкурсанток мала змогу розповісти про себе за допомогою відеоролику та власного виступу, пояснюючи, ким вони бачать себе через призму міфологічних образів і що ці образи означають для них особисто.
Далі учасниці постали перед глядачами у своїй природній грації під час дефіле у чорних сукнях, так би мовити, без зайвих декорацій. Наступний етап - «Дефіле авангард» дав змогу конкурсанткам втілити свої творчі фантазії в життя, створюючи вражаючі образи з підручних матеріалів. Гофрований папір, «дощик», ліани, пшеничні корони, величезні капелюхи та навіть крила метелика — з чого тільки не примудрилися створити свої образи наші конкурсантки! Їхні неймовірні костюми стали справжніми витворами мистецтва й вразили всіх глядачів.
Інтелектуальний конкурс підтвердив, що справжня богиня володіє не лише зовнішньою красою, а й гострим розумом. Дівчата швидко й влучно відповідали на непрості запитання, демонструючи широку ерудицію та нестандартне мислення.
«Конкурс талантів» став уособленням справжнього мистецького Олімпу. Глядачі стали свідками захоплюючих виступів - танцю на пуантах в українському костюмі, емоційного співу про «біль сьогодення», створення картин у режимі реального часу, граційної пластики рухів. Кожен номер відкривав індивідуальність і талант конкурсанток, які знову й знову доводили, що краса — це передусім глибина душі.
Фінальним акордом став головний вихід — дефіле «Богиня міфології», що перетворило сцену на величний храм краси й символічного відродження, де кожна богиня постала перед авдиторією зі своїм символічним атрибутом.
Конкурс прикрасили виступи запрошених гостей. Танцювальні та вокальні номери створювали гармонійну атмосферу свята. Серед найяскравіших номерів — чуттєвий танець від «Містера ПДМУ 2023» Дениса Бордака та «Міс УМСА 2018» Тамари Лохматової, виступ переможців конкурсу факультетів «Університетський гарт 2025», дуетний танець від асистентки кафедри фізичної та реабілітаційної медицини, керівниці ансамблю бально-спортивного танцю ПДМУ «Орхідея» Ірини Люблінської та студента медичного факультету № 1 Андрія Алефіренка, а також яскравий виступ ансамблю народного танцю співробітників університету «Візерунки» під керівництвом Лариси Кириленко. І вже традиційно смішила публіку своїми жартами студентка 2-го курсу стоматологічного факультету Карина Сапоненко.
Кульмінацією вечора стало нагородження переможниць у різних номінаціях. Корона «Міс ПДМУ 2025» знайшла свою власницю, і цей титул став не лише визнанням, а й символом відповідальності. Адже переможниця відтепер — обличчя Університету, натхненниця добрих справ та символ студентської єдності. Нею стала Домініка Бредун (богиня Леля), студентка Фахового медико-фармацевтичного коледжу ПДМУ, ОПП «Сестринська справа».
Проректор ПДМУ з навчальної роботи, професор, член журі конкурсу Давид Аветіков на завершення зазначив:
«Сьогодні я хочу вклонитися кожній з вас, дівчата, адже своєю чарівністю, грацією та світлом ви змогли на ці дві години змусити нас забути про всі негаразди, які переживає наша країна. Недарма кажуть, що краса рятує світ, і ви довели, що ваші посмішки можуть зцілювати не гірше за медицину. Дякую вам за цю магію!».
Проректор з навчально-виховної та гуманітарної роботи з молоддю, професор, член журі конкурсу Валерій Похилько передав вітання та слова підтримки від ректора ПДМУ, професора Вячеслава Ждана, і поділився власними враженнями:
«Українська жінка — це справжній оберіг родини, символ щастя та любові. І сьогодні наші дівчата вкотре продемонстрували ці найкращі якості. Весна принесла оновлення, і ви, як ніжні квіти, розквітли на цій сцені своїми талантами. Ми віримо, що так само розквітне і наша Україна, і всі разом ми дочекаємося миру та нашої Перемоги!».

Charity University Event "Miss PSMU 2025": when myths come to life and beauty becomes a symbol of light
Every time the sun dips below the horizon, stars light up the sky, reminding us of heroes and goddesses whose legends have withstood the test of time. Myths are not just stories from the past but a mirror of the human soul, its longing for light, harmony, and strength. This magic came to life on stage during the most mysterious and enchanting event of the year — the beauty, intellect, and talent competition "Miss PSMU 2025," made possible through the initiative and efforts of the Student Parliament of PSMU.
That evening, the contestants transformed into true goddesses. They impressed not only with their external beauty but also with their depth of thought, strength of character, and diverse talents. From the majestic Olympus to the mystical lands of the East, from Scandinavian legends to ancient Egyptian mysteries — the stage of the Poltava Academic Symphony Orchestra became a portal to the world of mythology, where each participant embodied her own legend.
But "Miss PSMU 2025" was not just a celebration of aesthetics and grace. The event had a charitable focus — viewers had the opportunity to make a contribution in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The ceremony began with a moment of silence to honor the fallen defenders and all innocent Ukrainians who lost their lives. A symbolic stage was the auction of a unique lot — a painted military instrument, symbolizing resilience. All funds raised would be donated to aid Ukrainian soldiers.
Each stage of the competition was a true test that demanded not only beauty but also charisma, intellect, creativity, and courage. Seven contestants, students from different faculties and courses of the university, competed for the title of "Miss PSMU 2025."
The first challenge was the "Introduction," where each contestant had the opportunity to introduce herself through a video and personal performance, explaining how she saw herself through the lens of mythological images and what those images personally meant to her.
Next, the contestants presented their natural grace in black dresses, so to speak, without excessive decorations. The next stage, "Avant-garde Catwalk," allowed contestants to bring their creative fantasies to life, creating impressive looks from improvised materials. Corrugated paper, "rain," vines, wheat crowns, huge hats, and even butterfly wings — our contestants managed to create their looks from so many different materials! Their incredible costumes became real works of art and amazed the audience.
The intellectual competition confirmed that a true goddess possesses not only outer beauty but also a sharp mind. The girls quickly and accurately answered challenging questions, demonstrating their wide erudition and unconventional thinking.
The "Talent Competition" embodied the true artistic Olympus. The audience witnessed exciting performances — a dance on pointe in a Ukrainian costume, an emotional song about the "pain of today," creating paintings in real-time, graceful movement plasticity. Each performance revealed the individuality and talent of the contestants, who repeatedly proved that beauty is, first and foremost, the depth of the soul.
The final highlight was the main exit — the "Goddess of Mythology" catwalk, which transformed the stage into a majestic temple of beauty and symbolic rebirth, where each goddess presented her symbolic attribute to the audience.
The competition was enriched by performances from invited guests. Dance and vocal numbers created a harmonious festive atmosphere. Among the brightest performances were a sensual dance by "Mr. PSMU 2023" Denys Bordak and "Miss UMSA 2018" Tamara Lokhmatova, a performance by the winners of the "University Spirit 2025" faculty competition, a duet dance by Iryna Liublinska, Assistant of the Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, and student of Medical Faculty № 1 Andrii Alefirenko, as well as a colorful performance by the folk dance ensemble of university staff "Vizerunky" under the direction of Larysa Kyrylenko. And traditionally, 2nd-year Dental Faculty student Karyna Saponenko entertained the audience with her jokes.
The evening's climax was the awarding of winners in various categories. The "Miss PSMU 2025" crown found its owner, and this title became not only recognition but also a symbol of responsibility. From now on, the winner is the face of the University, an inspirer of good deeds, and a symbol of student unity. The title went to Dominika Bredun (Goddess Lelia), a student of the PSMU Medical and Pharmaceutical College, EPP "Nursing."
Professor Davyd Avetikov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at PSMU, and Jury Member, concluded by saying: "Today, I want to bow to each of you, girls, because with your charm, grace, and light, you managed to make us forget, for these two hours, all the troubles our country is going through. It is said that beauty saves the world, and you proved that your smiles can heal just as well as medicine. Thank you for this magic!"
Professor Valerii Pokhylko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Extracurricular Activities, and Jury Member, conveyed greetings and words of support from PSMU Rector Professor Viacheslav Zhdan and shared his own impressions: "The Ukrainian woman is the true protector of the family, a symbol of happiness and love. And today, our girls once again demonstrated these best qualities. Spring has brought renewal, and like delicate flowers, you have blossomed on this stage with your talents. We believe that our Ukraine will bloom in the same way, and together we will await peace and our Victory!"
