31 жовтня 2025 року завідувач кафедри анатомії людини Володимир Гринь, та доцент Андрій Пілюгін разом із кураторськими групами 7-ї та 10-ї груп другого курсу медичного факультету №1 Полтавського державного медичного університету здійснили добру і щиру  справу – відвідали пункт перетримки бездоглядних тварин у Полтаві.

Цей пункт є частиною КАТП-1628 і виконує важливу соціальну функцію – тимчасово прихищає собак і котів, які залишилися без господарів. Тут кожен охочий може взяти тварину додому, стати її опікуном або просто прийти, щоб вигуляти чотирилапого друга й подарувати йому трохи уваги та тепла.

Студенти та викладачі прийшли не з порожніми руками – принесли смаколики і корм для тварин, зробивши цей день трохи кращим для мешканців притулку. Прогулянка з собаками на свіжому повітрі перетворилася на теплу й душевну зустріч, сповнену доброти, позитивних емоцій і взаємної вдячності.

Такі ініціативи виховують у майбутніх лікарів не лише професійну емпатію, а й людяність, турботу про тих, хто потребує допомоги. День завершився гарним настроєм і відчуттям зробленої доброї справи, що надихає на подальшу участь у подібних акціях.

Good Deeds Bring Us Together: Students Visited Animal Shelter in Poltava

On October 31, 2025, the Head of the Department of Human Anatomy, Volodymyr Hryn, and Associate Professor Andrii Piliuhin, together with the 7th and 10th curator groups of second-year students from the Medical Faculty No. 1 of Poltava State Medical University, carried out a kind and heartfelt initiative — they visited an animal shelter in Poltava.

This shelter is part of KATP-1628 and plays an important social role — it provides temporary refuge for dogs and cats that have been left without owners. Anyone can adopt an animal, become its guardian, or simply come by to walk a four-legged friend and share some attention and warmth.

The students and faculty didn’t come empty-handed — they brought treats and food for the animals, making the day a little brighter for the shelter’s residents. A walk with the dogs in the fresh air turned into a warm and heartfelt meeting filled with kindness, positive emotions, and mutual gratitude.

Such initiatives help nurture not only professional empathy in future doctors but also humanity and care for those in need. The day ended with smiles and the fulfilling feeling of having done something good — an inspiration for continued participation in similar volunteer activities.
