12 квітня 2025 року народний аматорський ансамбль танцю «Юність» Полтавського державного медичного університету під керівництвом Олени Матюніної здобув Гран-прі на міжнародному двотуровому фестивалі-конкурсі Millennium Star. Ансамбль підкорив журі майстерним виконанням номеру «Карічка», який став справжньою окрасою конкурсу, бо ж він ще до того й відомий автентичний закарпатський хоровод, який з давніх-давен об'єднував молодь на святах і розвагах. Його легкі, плавні рухи, граційність та енергійний настрій передають дух українських традицій, щирість душі та красу народної культури.
Завдяки тонкому відчуттю стилю та високій виконавській майстерності ансамбль «Юність» зумів яскраво передати цю автентичну атмосферу закарпатського свята, що не залишила байдужими ані глядачів, ані високоповажне журі конкурсу.

Grand Prix of the International Festival-Competition Millennium Star adds to the new achievements of PSMU’s “Yunist” ensemble: let’s celebrate together!
On April 12, 2025, the “Yunist” National Amateur Dance Ensemble of Poltava State Medical University, led by Olena Matiunina, won the Grand Prix at the international two-round festival-competition Millennium Star.
The ensemble impressed the jury with a masterful performance of the dance “Karychka”, which became a true highlight of the competition. This piece is a well-known authentic Transcarpathian round dance that has historically brought young people together during festivals and celebrations. Its light and flowing movements, graceful gestures, and energetic mood convey the spirit of Ukrainian tradition, the sincerity of the soul, and the beauty of folk culture.
Thanks to their subtle sense of style and high-level performance skills, the “Yunist” ensemble vividly conveyed the authentic festive atmosphere of a Transcarpathian celebration, leaving a lasting impression on both the audience and the esteemed panel of judges.
