Туберкульоз вражає всі органи і тканини організму людини, але найчастіше легені, тому діагностику туберкульозу повинні знати всі лікарі, не залежно від фаху. Ще треба пам’ятати, що це заразна хвороба і необхідно дотримуватися правил інфекційного контролю. Викладачі кафедри внутрішньої медицини № 3 з фтизіатрією ПДМУ, які викладають навчальну дисципліну «Фтизіатрія», надають можливість не тільки оволодіти знаннями теоретично, але й отримати та удосконалити практичні навички з діагностики туберкульозу.
Всі методи діагностики, які вивчають лікарі-інтерни, відповідають світовим стандартам діагностики туберкульозу і використовуються в КП «Полтавський обласний клінічний протитуберкульозний диспансер ПОР», який є базою кафедри. Інтерни не тільки спостерігають, а повсякчас беруть участь у їх виконанні та проведенні аналізу отриманих результатів дослідження.

It’s also essential to remember that TB is a contagious disease, and proper infection control protocols must always be followed.
At Poltava State Medical University, the faculty staff of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 with Phthisiology, who teach the "Phthisiology" course, provide interns not only with solid theoretical knowledge, but also with the practical skills needed for effective TB diagnosis.
All diagnostic methods covered during the training conform to international standards and are applied at the Poltava Regional Clinical Tuberculosis Dispensary, a clinical base of the department. Interns are actively engaged—not only observing but participating in diagnostic procedures and analyzing the results firsthand.
