На кафедрі пропедевтики внутрішньої медицини Полтавського державного медичного університету триває активна практична підготовка майбутніх фахівців за ОПП «Фізична терапія, ерготерапія». У межах вивчення ОК «Інструментальні методи функціональної діагностики, лабораторні дослідження» здобувачі вищої освіти перейшли до безпосереднього ознайомлення з роботою сучасної діагностичної апаратури. Вони на практиці ознайомилися з ультразвуковим скануванням, що дозволяє оцінити топографію внутрішніх органів та виявляти структурні зміни, які можуть впливати на тактику фізичної реабілітації.
На базі КП «4-а міська клінічна лікарня Полтавської міської ради імені Леоніда Куроєдова» майбутні фізичні терапевти та ерготерапевти мали змогу розібратися з особливостями ендоскопічного дослідження. Обстеження виконуються на сучасному обладнанні з дотриманням усіх вимог безпеки, стерильності та клінічних протоколів. Лікарі-ендоскопістидетально пояснили хід процедури та відповіли на запитання студентів, оскільки оцінка станушлунково-кишкового тракту є важливою для фахівців цієї галузі, особливо при роботі з пацієнтами, що потребують корекції харчової поведінки.
Паралельно з методами візуалізації, студенти продовжують вивчення функціональних показників: електрокардіографії, спірометрії, моніторингу артеріального тиску. В рамках співпраці з кафедрою сімейної медицини і терапії відбулося ознайомлення майбутніх фізичних терапевтів з методами діагностики остеопорозу. На базі Навчально-практичного центру з сімейної медицини здобувачі освіти дізналися про денситометрію та побачили наочно процедуру її виконання.
Практикоорієнтований підхід ПДМУ забезпечує студентам можливість поєднувати теоретичні знання з практичним досвідом, що готує їх до роботи в мультидисциплінарних реабілітаційних командах світового рівня.

Future Occupational Therapists Master Modern Diagnostic Methods
At the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine of Poltava State Medical University, active practical training continues for future specialists of the educational program “Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy.” As part of studying the course “Instrumental Methods of Functional Diagnostics and Laboratory Investigations,” students have moved on to direct practical acquaintance with modern diagnostic equipment.
During practical classes, students became familiar with ultrasound scanning, which allows assessment of the topography of internal organs and detection of structural changes that may influence physical rehabilitation strategies.
At the municipal enterprise 4th City Clinical Hospital of Poltava City Council named after Leonid Kuroyedov, future physical therapists and occupational therapists had the opportunity to study the specifics of endoscopic examinations. The procedures are performed using modern equipment in compliance with all safety, sterility, and clinical protocol requirements.
Endoscopists thoroughly explained the stages of the procedures and answered students’ questions, since assessment of the gastrointestinal tract is highly important for specialists in this field, particularly when working with patients who require correction of eating behavior.
Alongside visualization methods, students continue studying functional diagnostic indicators, including electrocardiography, spirometry, and blood pressure monitoring.
As part of cooperation with the Department of Family Medicine and Therapy, future physical therapists were also introduced to osteoporosis diagnostic methods. At the Educational and Practical Center of Family Medicine, students learned about densitometry and observed the procedure in practice.
The practice-oriented approach of Poltava State Medical University provides students with the opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, preparing them to work in multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams of an international standard.
