З нагоди Дня художника України студенти 2 курсу ОПП «Медицина», які на кафедрі українознавства та гуманітарної підготовки вивчають предмет «Основи педагогіки вищої школи» (викладач – доцентка Олена Шевченко), відвідали виставку творчих робіт «Світ очима митця», що відкрилася у відділі мистецтв Полтавської обласної універсальної наукової бібліотеки імені І. П. Котляревського.
Експозиція презентує творчість Євгена Пілюгіна – заслуженого майстра народної творчості України, члена Національної спілки художників України та Національної спілки майстрів народного мистецтва України, очільника Полтавського обласного осередку НСМНМУ.
Перегляд виставки став для майбутніх лікарів нагодою ознайомитися з багатством українського мистецтва, глибиною народних традицій, колоритом художніх образів і самобутнім баченням краси навколишнього світу.
Захід органічно доповнив вивчення навчальної дисципліни, адже гармонійний розвиток майбутнього фахівця передбачає не лише здобуття професійних знань, а й формування духовних цінностей, естетичної культури, емоційного інтелекту і здатності до емпатії. Звернення до мистецтва сприяє розширенню світогляду майбутніх лікарів, розвитку спостережливості й розуміння внутрішнього світу людини – важливих складників професійної культури медика.
Такі освітньо-культурні заходи розширюють можливості навчання поза аудиторією, поєднуючи педагогічні цілі з національно-культурним вихованням і сприяючи всебічному розвитку майбутніх медичних фахівців.

Art as an Integral Part of the Professional Development of Future Healthcare Professionals
On the occasion of Ukraine’s Artist’s Day, second-year students enrolled in the Medicine educational and professional program, who study the course “Fundamentals of Higher Education Pedagogy” at the Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanities under the guidance of Associate Professor Olena Shevchenko, visited the exhibition of creative works entitled “The World Through the Artist’s Eyes." The exhibition opened in the Arts Department of the I. P. Kotliarevsky Poltava Regional Universal Scientific Library.
The exhibition showcases the work of Yevhen Pіliuhin, an Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine, and head of the Poltava regional branch of the latter organization.
Visiting the exhibition provided the future physicians with an opportunity to explore the richness of Ukrainian art, the depth of folk traditions, the vividness of artistic imagery, and the artist’s distinctive vision of beauty in the world around us.
The event complemented the students’ academic studies, as the well-rounded development of future professionals involves not only acquiring professional knowledge but also cultivating spiritual values, aesthetic awareness, emotional intelligence, and empathy. Engagement with art helps broaden future physicians’ horizons, develop their powers of observation, and deepen their understanding of the human inner world—all essential components of professional medical culture.
Such educational and cultural activities expand learning opportunities beyond the classroom, combining pedagogical objectives with national and cultural education and contributing to the comprehensive development of future healthcare professionals.
