Науковці Полтавського державного медичного університету у співпраці з колегами з Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Ерланген, Німеччина) та Інституту зоології ім. І. І. Шмальгаузена НАН України опублікували результати двох спільних наукових досліджень –«Macroanatomy and morphometry of the calcaneus: a pilot study» та «Trabecular architectonic of the calcaneus: a pilot study» у міжнародному фаховому журналі Trauma, який індексується у наукометричній базі Scopus.
До підготовки досліджень долучилися представники кількох кафедр Полтавського державного медичного університету, науковий співробітник відділу еволюційної морфології Інституту зоології ім. І. І. Шмальгаузена НАН України Світозар Давиденко та професор Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg Фрідріх Паульсен.
Дослідження присвячені комплексному вивченню макро- та мікроанатомічних особливостей і морфометричних характеристик п’яткової кістки людини. У роботах поєднано сучасні морфологічні, морфометричні, рентгенологічні методи дослідження та методи тривимірної реконструкції, що дало змогу детально проаналізувати топографію кортикального шару та архітектоніку трабекулярної кісткової тканини.
У першому дослідженні – «Macroanatomy and morphometry of the calcaneus: a pilot study» –співавторами від ПДМУ стали Гринь В. Г., Максименко О. С., Свінцицька Н. Л., Тихонова О. О., Устенко Р. Л. –представники кафедри анатомії людини; Драбовський В. С., Годуадзе Г. Н., Чіп Є. Е., Кононенко С. Публікація є черговим підтвердженням високого наукового потенціалу дослідників Полтавського державного медичного університету, розвитку міжнародного партнерства та інтеграції університету у світовий науковий простір.

PSMU Researchers Publish Joint Studies with International Partners in a Scopus-Indexed Journal
Researchers from Poltava State Medical University (PSMU), in collaboration with colleagues from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (Erlangen, Germany) and the I. I. SchmalhausenInstitute of Zoology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, have published the results of two joint research studies—“Macroanatomy and Morphometry of the Calcaneus: A Pilot Study” and “Trabecular Architectonics of the Calcaneus: A Pilot Study”—in the international peer-reviewed journal Trauma, which is indexed in the Scopus database.
The studies were prepared with the participation of researchers from several departments of Poltava State Medical University, Svitlozar Davydenko, Research Fellow at the Department of Evolutionary Morphology of the I. I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and Professor Friedrich Paulsen of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
The research focuses on a comprehensive examination of the macro- and microanatomical features and morphometric characteristics of the human calcaneus. The studies combine modern morphological, morphometric, and radiological methods with three-dimensional reconstruction techniques, enabling a detailed analysis of the topography of the cortical layer and the architecture of trabecular bone tissue.
In the first study, “Macroanatomy and Morphometry of the Calcaneus: A Pilot Study,” the PSMU co-authors were V. H. Hryn, O. S. Maksymenko, N. L. Svintsytska, O. O. Tykhonova and R. L. Ustenko, representatives of the Department of Human Anatomy; H. Yu. Morokhovets, Department of Public Health, Management and Medical Expertise; H. N. Goduadze, Department of Surgery No. 3; as well as M. V. Hryn and D. S. Stupak, students of Faculty of Medicine No. 1 and members of the Student Scientific Society at the Department of Human Anatomy.
In the second study, “Trabecular Architectonics of the Calcaneus: A Pilot Study,” PSMU was represented by V. H. Hryn, O. S. Maksymenko, A. V. Piliuhin, Ya. A. Tarasenko and R. L. Ustenko, representatives of the Department of Human Anatomy; V. S. Drabovskyi, H. N. Goduadze, Ye. E. Chip, and S. V. Kononenko, representatives of the Department of Surgery No. 3; and M. V. Hryn, a student of Faculty of Medicine No. 1 and a member of the Student Scientific Society at the Department of Human Anatomy.
This publication is another testament to the strong research potential of Poltava State Medical University’s researchers, the continued development of international academic partnerships, and the University’s growing integration into the global research community.
