17 червня 2026 року науково-педагогічні працівники кафедри пропедевтики внутрішньої медицини ПДМУ представили Полтавську наукову школу на регіональній науково-практичній конференції «Мультидисциплінарний підхід до лікування внутрішніх хвороб, заснований на нових вітчизняних та закордонних клінічних настановах». Масштабний медичний захід відбувся у змішаному форматі та об’єднав провідних експертів, науковців і практикуючих лікарів терапевтичного профілю, загальної практики – сімейної медицини, кардіологів і гастроентерологів з різних регіонів України.
Головною метою конференції стало впровадження новітніх вітчизняних та закордонних клінічних настанов у щоденну медичну практику. Учасники зосередили увагу на коморбідних станах та важливості взаємодії лікарів різних спеціальностей для покращення ефективності лікування пацієнтів із внутрішньою патологією. Медичній спільноті були презентовані такі ґрунтовні доповіді, як: «Вертебро-базилярна недостатність в практиці лікаря-інтерніста: сучасні стандарти діагностики і лікування», яку спільно представили доктор медичних наук, професор Юрій Казаков та доктор медичних наук, професор Наталія Чекаліна. У виступі висвітлено інноваційні підходи до менеджменту пацієнтів із порушенням кровообігу у вертебро-базилярному басейні на засадах доказової медицини. Доповідь «Синдром раннього старіння судин у людей молодого віку в практиці лікаря-інтерніста» підготовлена PhD Тетяною Іваницькою у співавторстві з професором Юрієм Казаковим. Виступ викликав жвавий інтерес, оскільки висвітлив важливу проблему раннього судинного старіння (синдром EVA) та можливості його превентивної терапії у молодих пацієнтів.
Учасники конференції відзначили високий науково-методичний рівень доповідей полтавських фахівців та практичну цінність запропонованих ними алгоритмів, що підтверджує активну роль ПДМУ у системі безперервного професійного розвитку медичних кадрів.

PSMU Scholars Participate in Conference on the Multidisciplinary Management of Internal Diseases
On June 17, 2026, academic staff members of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine at Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) represented the Poltava Scientific School at the regional scientific and practical conference “A Multidisciplinary Approach to the Treatment of Internal Diseases Based on New National and International Clinical Guidelines.” The large-scale medical event was held in a hybrid format and brought together leading experts, researchers, and practicing physicians in internal medicine, general practice–family medicine, cardiology, and gastroenterology from various regions of Ukraine.
The primary objective of the conference was to promote the implementation of the latest national and international clinical guidelines in everyday medical practice. Participants focused on comorbid conditions and emphasized the importance of collaboration among physicians of different specialties to improve treatment outcomes for patients with internal diseases.
The medical community was presented with several comprehensive reports, including “Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency in Internal Medicine Practice: Current Standards of Diagnosis and Treatment,” jointly delivered by Professor Yurii Kazakov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and Professor Nataliia Chekalina Doctor of Medical Sciences. Their presentation highlighted innovative evidence-based approaches to the management of patients with impaired circulation in the vertebrobasilar system.
Another presentation, “Early Vascular Aging Syndrome in Young Adults in Internal Medicine Practice,” was prepared by PhD Tetiana Ivanytska in co-authorship with Professor Yurii Kazakov. The report generated considerable interest among participants, as it addressed the important issue of early vascular aging (EVA syndrome) and the possibilities of preventive therapy for young patients.
Conference participants highly praised the scientific and methodological quality of the presentations delivered by the Poltava researchers, as well as the practical value of the clinical algorithms they proposed. This recognition further confirms PSMU’s active role in the system of continuous professional development for healthcare professionals.
