Завідувачка кафедри іноземних мов з латинською мовою та медичною допомогою Олена Бєляєва та доцентка Юлія Лисанець взяли участь у 12-й Міжнародній онлайн-конференції «New Dimensions of Philology – Languages, Literature, Linguistics, Culture», яка відбулася на базі Akademia Mazowiecka w Płocku (Польща).
У межах конференції дослідниці представили три наукові доповіді, присвячені актуальним питанням лінгводидактики, академічного письма та міжкультурної комунікації.
Зокрема, у доповіді «Anormatives in the Process of Learning Latin Language and Medical Terminology: Typology, Factors, and Methodological Recommendations» було проаналізовано типологію аномормативів у процесі вивчення латинської мови та медичної термінології, визначено чинники їх виникнення та запропоновано методичні рекомендації щодо їх подолання.
Доповідь «Enhancing EAP Instruction through the Michigan Corpus of Academic Spoken English at a Ukrainian Medical University» була присвячена впровадженню корпусних технологій у викладання англійської мови для академічних цілей (EAP), зокрема використанню Michigan Corpus of Academic Spoken English.
У доповіді «A Practical Guide to Essay Writing in German and English as a Second or Further Language» було представлено результати спільного дослідження з Університетом Ворика (Велика Британія).

PSMU Scholars Participate in an International Online Conference in Poland
Head of the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology, Olena Bieliaieva, and Associate Professor Yuliia Lysanets participated in the 12th International Online Conference “New Dimensions of Philology – Languages, Literature, Linguistics, Culture,” hosted by Akademia Mazowiecka w Płocku (Poland).
During the conference, the researchers presented three scientific papers addressing current issues in language teaching methodology, academic writing, and intercultural communication.
In particular, the presentation “Anormatives in the Process of Learning Latin Language and Medical Terminology: Typology, Factors, and Methodological Recommendations” examined the typology of anormatives in the process of learning Latin and medical terminology, identified the factors contributing to their occurrence, and proposed methodological recommendations for overcoming them.
The paper “Enhancing EAP Instruction through the Michigan Corpus of Academic Spoken English at a Ukrainian Medical University” focused on the implementation of corpus-based technologies in teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP), with particular emphasis on the use of the Michigan Corpus of Academic Spoken English.
The presentation “A Practical Guide to Essay Writing in German and English as a Second or Further Language” showcased the results of a collaborative research project conducted jointly with the University of Warwick (United Kingdom).
Participation in the conference provided an opportunity to share research findings with the international academic community, exchange professional experience with scholars from different countries, and discuss contemporary trends in philological studies, language education, and intercultural communication.
