Жовтень – це місяць, коли увесь світ об′єднується в боротьбі з раком молочної залози. Рак молочної залози є найпоширенішим серед жінок і займає перше місце за частотою серед усіх злоякісних захворювань. На жаль, збільшується захворюваність у занедбаних ІІІ-ІV стадіях.

На кафедрі акушерства і гінекологіЇ № 1 ПДМУ у цей час приділяється особлива увага до обізнаності здобувачів вищої освіти щодо ранньої діагностики та адекватного лікування цієї патології.

Студенти оволодівають практичними навичками мануального та інструментального обстежень молочної залози, знайомляться з новітнім  Стандартом медичної допомоги «Доброякісні захворювання молочних залоз. (наказ МОЗУ № 535 від 26 березня 2025 року), проводять курацію пацієнток групи ризику по раку молочної залози, вчаться інтерпретації результатів сонограм та рентгенограм, вирішують ситуаційні клінічні задачі.

23 жовтня 2025 планується виїзне засідання студентської наукової групи кафедри, присвячене боротьбі з раком молочної залози з відвідуванням клінічної бази ПДМУ  медичного центру «Медіон», де відбудеться знайомство здобувачів із сучасними методами обстеження молочної залози: двуенергетична спектральна контрастна маммографія, томосинтез, УЗД.

Awareness of Future Doctors – the Key to Providing Timely and Quality Care for Women in Ukraine

October is the month when the entire world unites in the fight against breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women and ranks first in incidence among all malignant diseases. Unfortunately, the number of cases diagnosed at advanced stages (III–IV) continues to increase.

At the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of PSMU, special attention is given at this time to raising students’ awareness about the early diagnosis and appropriate treatment of this pathology.

Students acquire practical skills in manual and instrumental breast examinations, familiarize themselves with the new Medical Care Standard “Benign Breast Diseases” (Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 535 dated March 26, 2025), curate patients from breast cancer risk groups, learn to interpret sonogram and X-ray results, and solve situational clinical cases.

On October 23, 2025, an off-site meeting of the student scientific group of the department is planned, dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. The event will include a visit to the clinical base of PSMU – the “Medion” Medical Center, where students will be introduced to modern breast examination methods such as dual-energy spectral contrast mammography, tomosynthesis, and ultrasound.
