На стоматологічному факультеті Полтавського державного медичного університету відбулася організаційна зустріч із першокурсниками, які цьогоріч розпочали свій шлях до оволодіння омріяною спеціальністю.
Із початком студентського життя здобувачів та їхніх батьків привітала декан стоматологічного факультету Лілія Буря. Вона подякувала за довіру та вибір ПДМУ, побажала студентам успішного навчання, професійного розвитку й упевнених кроків на шляху до професії лікаря-стоматолога.
Особливого символізму зустрічі додає те, що 2026 рік є ювілейним для Полтавського державного медичного університету, який відзначає своє 105-річчя. Для першокурсників це чудова нагода стати частиною історії закладу, що упродовж понад століття готує висококваліфікованих медичних фахівців.
Під час зустрічі здобувачам освіти розповіли про організацію освітнього процесу, ознайомили з роботою деканату, представили його працівників, правила та особливості навчання в університеті. Окремий акцент було зроблено на дотриманні принципів академічної доброчесності та відповідальному ставленні до освітнього процесу.
На зустріч були запрошені поважні гості, які побажали першокурсникам успіхів у навчанні, витримки та наснаги. Гарант освітньо-професійної програми «Стоматологія» Ольга Шешукова ознайомила студентів з особливостями обраної ОПП, її структурою, змістом і можливостями для професійного розвитку. Окремо вона наголосила, що ОПП «Стоматологія» ПДМУ акредитована Національним агентством із забезпечення якості вищої освіти з визначенням «зразкова», що є вагомим підтвердженням високої якості підготовки майбутніх лікарів-стоматологів.
Начальник відділу військового обліку Володимир Марчук ознайомив студентів із нормативно-правовими актами та вимогами, яких необхідно дотримуватися під час навчання.
Директорка бібліотеки ПДМУ Ольга Боровик запросила всіх відвідати читальні зали бібліотеки, науковий абонемент та отримати підручники, необхідні для навчального процесу.
Уповноважена особа з питань запобігання та виявлення корупції Наталія Шевцова розповіла присутнім про принцип нульової толерантності до корупції та порушень академічної доброчесності.
Голова Студентського Парламенту Ольга Резніченко представила відділи Студентського Парламенту й запросила всіх охочих взяти участь у різноманітних напрямах життя університету.
На завершення зустрічі декан факультету побажала студентам успіхів у навчанні.

The First Step Towards a Career in Dentistry: PSMU Faculty of Dentistry Welcomes First-Year Students
The Faculty of Dentistry of Poltava State Medical University held an introductory meeting for first-year students who have begun their journey towards their chosen profession this year.
The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Liliia Buria, welcomed the new students and their parents as they embarked on their university life. She thanked them for their trust and for choosing PSMU, and wished the students success in their studies, professional growth, and confidence as they take their first steps towards becoming dental professionals.
The meeting was particularly symbolic as 2026 is a jubilee year for Poltava State Medical University, which is celebrating its 105th anniversary. For the first-year students, this is a wonderful opportunity to become part of the history of an institution that has been training highly qualified healthcare professionals for more than a century.
During the meeting, the students were introduced to the organisation of the educational process, the work of the Dean’s Office, its staff, and the rules and specific features of studying at the university. Particular emphasis was placed on compliance with the principles of academic integrity and a responsible attitude towards the educational process.
The meeting was attended by distinguished guests who wished the first-year students success in their studies, perseverance, and inspiration.
Olha Sheshukova, Guarantor of the Dentistry Educational and Professional Programme, introduced the students to the specific features of their chosen programme, its structure, content, and opportunities for professional development. She also emphasised that the Dentistry Educational and Professional Programme at PSMU has been accredited by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance with the designation “exemplary,” which is an important confirmation of the high quality of training provided to future dental professionals.
Volodymyr Marchuk, Head of the Military Registration Office, familiarised the students with the relevant regulatory and legal acts and the requirements that must be observed during their studies.
Olha Borovyk, Director of the PSMU Library, invited everyone to visit the library’s reading rooms and research library, and to collect the textbooks needed for their studies.
Nataliia Shevtsova, the authorised officer responsible for preventing and detecting corruption, spoke about the principle of zero tolerance for corruption and violations of academic integrity.
Olha Reznichenko, Head of the Student Parliament, introduced the students to the Student Parliament’s departments and invited everyone interested to take part in various areas of university life.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty wished the students every success in their studies and a rewarding journey towards their future profession.
