Зустріч відбулась у рамках заходу «Sectoral Innovation Exchange: Ukraine – UK»
Він є частиною програми з допомоги закладам вищої освіти та науковим установам у розвитку інновацій, що реалізується спільно Міністерством освіти і науки України за сприяння проєкту «Цифровізація для зростання, доброчесності та прозорості» (UK DIGIT) Фонду Євразія, Офісом ефективного регулювання BRDO.
На зустрічі 5 вересня було презентовано стратегію реформи наукових парків в Україні. Короткий огляд пропонованих змін, стратегічних цілей, очікуваної ролі ЗВО у реформі зробив представник МОН України та Офісу ефективного регулювання BRDO Олександр Напольських.
Полтавський державний медичний університет на заході представляв проректор з наукової роботи, професор Ігор Кайдашев. Він представив науково-інноваційний потенціал університету, окреслив можливості і перспективи впровадження наукового парку біомедичних досліджень на базі ЗВО ПДМУ, а також виділив ряд проблемних питань впровадження таких парків.
За результатами зустрічі буде сформовано узагальнений каталог пропозицій для подальшої передачі партнерам з Великої Британії.

Preparatory Meeting with Representatives of Ukrainian Universities and Research Institutions
The meeting was held within the framework of the event “Sectoral Innovation Exchange: Ukraine – UK”.
It is part of a program aimed at supporting higher education institutions and research organizations in developing innovations, implemented jointly by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the support of the project “Digitalization for Growth, Integrity and Transparency” (UK DIGIT) of the Eurasia Foundation and the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO).
At the meeting on September 5, the strategy for reforming science parks in Ukraine was presented. Oleksandr Napolskykh, a representative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and BRDO, provided a brief overview of the proposed changes, strategic objectives and the expected role of universities in the reform.
Poltava State Medical University was represented at the event by Professor Ihor Kaidashev, Vice-Rector for Research. He presented the university’s scientific and innovative potential, outlined the opportunities and prospects for establishing a biomedical research science park based at PSMU and highlighted several challenges in implementing such parks.
As a result of the meeting, a consolidated catalogue of proposals will be prepared for further submission to partners in the United Kingdom.
