На кафедрі пропедевтики внутрішньої медицини Полтавського державного медичного університету триває навчання за освітнім компонентом «Догляд за хворими. Медичні маніпуляції».
Теоретична підготовка поєднується з практичним відпрацюванням навичок, тому студенти ІІ курсу медичного факультету №1 та №2 опановують медичні маніпуляції із використанням спеціалізованих тренажерів.
Під час занять особлива увага приділяється двом основним напрямам: виконанню ін’єкцій та контролю життєвих показників. На тренажерах-муляжах студенти відпрацьовують техніку внутрішньом’язових, підшкірних, внутрішньошкірних та внутрішньовенних ін’єкцій, навчаючись правильно обирати техніку та дотримуватися правил асептики й антисептики.
Робота на симуляційних тренажерах дозволяє відпрацьовувати практичні навички без ризику для пацієнта та поступово формувати професійну впевненість майбутніх медиків.
Окрему увагу приділено навичкам вимірювання артеріального тиску. Студенти тренуються правильно накладати манжету, визначати пульс та вислуховувати тони Короткова. Робота з різними типами тонометрів і термометрів сприяє розвитку точності та клінічної уважності.
Навчальний процес триває навіть в умовах повітряних тривог – заняття проводяться в укриттях відповідно до вимог безпеки.
Практична підготовка на симуляційних тренажерах є важливим етапом формування клінічних навичок і підготовки студентів до роботи з пацієнтами у клінічних відділеннях.

Practical Training for Future Physicians: PSMU Students Master Clinical Procedures Using Simulation Trainers
At the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine of Poltava State Medical University, training continues within the educational component “Patient Care. Medical Procedures.”
Theoretical preparation is combined with hands-on skill development; therefore, 2nd-year students of the Faculties of Medicine No. 1 and No. 2 are mastering medical procedures using specialized simulators.
During classes, special attention is paid to two main areas: performing injections and monitoring vital signs. Using mannequin trainers, students practice the techniques of intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, and intravenous injections, learning to correctly select the technique and adhere to the rules of asepsis and antisepsis.
Training on simulation mannequins allows students to develop practical skills without risk to patients and gradually build professional confidence.
Particular attention is also given to blood pressure measurement skills. Students practice proper cuff placement, pulse determination, and auscultation of Korotkoff sounds. Working with different types of sphygmomanometers and thermometers helps develop precision and clinical attentiveness.
The educational process continues even during air raid alerts, with classes conducted in shelters in accordance with safety requirements.
Practical training on simulation mannequins is an important stage in forming clinical skills and preparing students for work with patients in clinical departments.
