15 жовтня 2026 року Полтавський державний медичний університет відвідали учні 8-Д класу Ліцею № 13 «Успіх» Полтавської міської ради.
Під час екскурсії школярі дізналися про історію та традиції Полтавського державного медичного університету, відвідали його музеї й ознайомилися з діяльністю кафедр.
У Музеї історії університету учні дізналися про основні етапи його розвитку та визначні досягнення. В Анатомічному музеї кафедри анатомії людини вони побачили анатомічні препарати й моделі, що демонструють будову людського тіла.
Також школярі відвідали кафедру анатомії з клінічною анатомією та оперативною хірургією ПДМУ, де дізналися про її діяльність та особливості підготовки майбутніх лікарів і поспілкувалися з викладачами.
Цей візит став початком профорієнтаційної кампанії ПДМУ, покликаної ознайомити учнівську молодь із медичними професіями та допомогти у виборі майбутнього фаху.

PSMU Career Guidance Activities: School Students Explore the University and Its Departments
On October 15, 2026, Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) welcomed pupils from Class 8-D of Lyceum No. 13 “Uspikh” of the Poltava City Council.
During the guided tour, the school students learned about the history and traditions of Poltava State Medical University, visited its museums, and explored the work of its academic departments.
At the University History Museum, the students learned about the key stages of the University’s development and its notable achievements. At the Anatomical Museum of the Department of Human Anatomy, they viewed anatomical specimens and models illustrating the structure of the human body.
The pupils also visited the Department of Anatomy, Clinical Anatomy, and Operative Surgery at PSMU, where they learned about its activities and the specific features of training future physicians, as well as interacted with academic staff.
This visit marked the beginning of PSMU’s career guidance campaign, which aims to introduce school students to medical professions and help them choose their future careers.
