7 травня 2026 року доцент кафедри фармакології ПДМУ Антоніна Сидоренко разом зі здобувачами вищої освіти 3 курсу медичного факультету №1 (1 група) відвідали музичну виставу «Сорочинський ярмарок» у Полтавському академічному обласному українському музично-драматичному театрі імені М.В. Гоголя.
Постановка 2026 року є ювілейною – своєрідним творчим продовженням легендарної вистави 1936 року, з якої розпочався відлік театральних сезонів закладу. Прем’єра сучасної інтерпретації відбулася 1 травня 2026 року.
Режисер-постановник, заслужений діяч мистецтв України Сергій Павлюк осучаснив класичний твір Миколи Гоголя, додавши нове прочитання образів і ввівши самого автора як одного з персонажів.
Під час перегляду студенти відзначили яскраву сценографію, відтворення атмосфери традиційного українського ярмарку та насичену музично-комедійну складову вистави.
Захід сприяв культурному відпочинку та емоційному розвантаженню студентів-медиків.

PSMU Students Attend the Anniversary Performance “Sorochynskyi Fair”
On May 7, 2026, Associate Professor Antonina Sydorenko, the Department of Pharmacology at PSMU, together with third-year students of Medical Faculty No. 1 (Group 1), attended the musical performance “Sorochynskyi Fair” at the M.V. Gogol Poltava Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater.
The 2026 production is an anniversary performance and serves as a creative continuation of the legendary 1936 staging, which marked the beginning of the theater’s seasonal history. The premiere of the modern interpretation took place on May 1, 2026.
Stage director and Honored Artist of Ukraine Serhii Pavliuk modernized Mykola Gogol’s classic work by introducing a new interpretation of the characters and adding the author himself as one of the characters in the performance.
During the performance, students noted the vivid staging, the recreation of the atmosphere of a traditional Ukrainian fair, and the rich musical and comedic elements of the production.
The event contributed to the cultural enrichment and emotional relaxation of medical students.
