16 квітня 2026 року у м. Вінниця відбулася ХХІІІ студентська наукова конференція з міжнародною участю «Перший крок в науку – 2026». За підсумками виступів студентка 5-го курсу ПДМУ Олеся Мазоха була відзначена дипломом ІІ ступеня за доповідь «Психоемоційний стан пацієнтів під час ендоскопічних ендоназальних втручань у приносових пазухах: роль перенесеного COVID-19». У роботі висвітлено актуальні аспекти впливу перенесеної інфекції на психоемоційний стан пацієнтів та перебіг хірургічного лікування.
17 квітня 2026 року в м. Київ відбулася XVIII Міжнародна науково-практична конференція студентів та молодих вчених «Спеціальні питання діагностики та лікування захворювань ЛОР-органів, краніофаціальної ділянки та органа зору». За результатами участі Олеся Мазоха здобула диплом ІІІ ступеня за доповідь «Вплив використання PRP і кверцетину на ефективність лікування атрофічного риніту», у якій обґрунтовано перспективність сучасних комбінованих підходів до терапії хронічної ЛОР-патології. Науковий керівник – к. мед. н., асистент кафедри оториноларингології та офтальмології ПДМУ Андрій Лобурець. Отримані відзнаки є свідченням високого рівня підготовки здобувачів освіти університету, їх наукової активності та прагнення до впровадження інновацій у медичну практику.

PSMU Student Receives Two Awards at International Scientific Conferences
Olesia Mazokha, a student of Poltava State Medical University, достойно represented the university at prestigious scientific conferences, earning two awards.
On April 16, 2026, the 23rd Student Scientific Conference with international participation, “The First Step into Science – 2026,” was held in Vinnytsia. Based on the results of the presentations, fifth-year PSMU student Olesia Mazokha was awarded a second-degree diploma for her report “Psycho-emotional State of Patients During Endoscopic Endonasal Interventions in the Paranasal Sinuses: The Role of Previous COVID-19 Infection.” The study highlighted relevant aspects of how a previous infection influences patients’ psycho-emotional condition and the course of surgical treatment.
On April 17, 2026, the 18th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists, “Specific Issues of Diagnosis and Treatment of Diseases of ENT Organs, the Craniofacial Area, and the Organ of Vision,” took place in Kyiv. As a result of her participation, Olesia Mazokha received a third-degree diploma for her report “The Impact of PRP and Quercetin Use on the Effectiveness of Treatment of Atrophic Rhinitis,” which substantiated the перспективність of modern combined approaches to the therapy of chronic ENT pathology. Her academic supervisor was Andrii Loburets, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Assistant at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Ophthalmology of PSMU.
These distinctions testify to the high level of training of the university’s students, their scientific activity, and their commitment to implementing innovations in medical practice.
