1–3 червня 2026 року науково-педагогічні працівники кафедри біології ПДМУ провели виховні заходи, присвячені академічній доброчесності.
Учасниками стали студенти І курсу стоматологічного та медичних факультетів №1 і №2. Напередодні іспиту з медичної біології першокурсники обговорили принципи чесного навчання, самостійної роботи та поваги до інтелектуальної власності.
Під час зустрічей студенти ділилися власними поглядами на значення академічної доброчесності у майбутній професійній діяльності.
Викладачі кафедри наголосили, що академічна доброчесність є фундаментом освіти, яка базується на чесності, самостійній праці та повазі до інтелектуальної власності. Чесне навчання сприяє формуванню у студентів критичного мислення, уміння самостійно шукати й аналізувати інформацію та глибокого розуміння навчального матеріалу. Списування та плагіат створюють лише ілюзію знань, тоді як чесно здобута освіта є основою професійної конкурентоспроможності та відповідального ставлення до майбутньої фахової діяльності.
У сучасному суспільстві цінують тих, хто дотримується принципів чесної навчальної та наукової діяльності.

PSMU Holds Academic Integrity Events for First-Year Students
On 1–3 June 2026, the academic staff of the Department of Biology at Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) conducted educational events dedicated to academic integrity.
The participants included first-year students of the Faculty of Dentistry and Medical Faculties No. 1 and No. 2. Ahead of their Medical Biology examination, the students discussed the principles of honest learning, independent work, and respect for intellectual property.
During the meetings, students shared their views on the importance of academic integrity in their future professional careers.
The department’s lecturers emphasized that academic integrity is the foundation of education based on honesty, independent effort, and respect for intellectual property. Honest learning helps students develop critical thinking skills, the ability to independently search for and analyze information, and a deep understanding of academic material. Cheating and plagiarism create only an illusion of knowledge, whereas education acquired through honest effort serves as the basis for professional competitiveness and a responsible approach to future professional practice.
In modern society, individuals who adhere to the principles of honest academic and research activity are highly valued.
