30 квітня 2026 року у Полтавському державному медичному університеті розпочалася Х Міжнародна науково-практична конференція «Актуальні питання лінгвістики, професійної лінгводидактики, психології і педагогіки вищої школи», присвячена 105-річчю ПДМУ.
Від імені колективу університету ректор, професор Вячеслав Ждан, привітав учасників традиційного ювілейного наукового заходу. У своєму виступі він наголосив, що сучасна медицина тісно пов’язана не лише з клінічною практикою, а й із лінгвістикою та педагогікою, адже гуманітарна складова формує здатність фахівця ефективно спілкуватися з пацієнтами, переконувати та якісно доносити важливу інформацію в професійній діяльності.
Ректор побажав учасникам конференції натхнення, нових наукових здобутків, перспективних досліджень, а також якнайшвидшої перемоги України над ворогом та подякував усім за активну участь у заході.
З вітальними словами до учасників конференції також звернулися представники наукової спільноти з України та провідних закордонних закладів вищої освіти, зокрема Польщі, Азербайджану та Румунії.
Модератор заходу – доцент кафедри іноземних мов з латинською мовою та медичною термінологією ПДМУ, кандидат педагогічних наук Олена Беляєва.
Конференція триватиме два дні – 30 квітня та 1 травня 2026 року.

The X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Issues in Linguistics, Professional Linguodidactics, Psychology and Higher Education Pedagogy” has commenced at PSMU
On April 30, 2026, the X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Issues in Linguistics, Professional Linguodidactics, Psychology and Higher Education Pedagogy,” dedicated to the 105th anniversary of PSMU, began at Poltava State Medical University.
On behalf of the university community, Rector, Professor Viacheslav Zhdan, welcomed the participants of this traditional jubilee scientific event. In his speech, he emphasized that modern medicine is closely connected not only with clinical practice but also with linguistics and pedagogy, as the humanities component shapes a specialist’s ability to communicate effectively with patients, persuade them, and clearly convey important information in professional practice.
The Rector wished the conference participants inspiration, new scientific achievements, and promising research, as well as Ukraine’s swift victory over the enemy, and thanked everyone for their active participation in the event.
Representatives of the academic community from Ukraine and leading foreign higher education institutions, including Poland, Azerbaijan, and Romania, also addressed the participants with welcoming remarks.
The moderator of the event is Associate Professor Olena Beliaieva, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology at PSMU.
The conference will last for two days — April 30 and May 1, 2026.
