19 грудня 2025 року на базі Полтавського державного медичного університету розпочався І етап Всеукраїнського конкурсу-захисту науково-дослідницьких робіт учнів-членів Малої академії наук України (МАН). Конкурс має на меті виявлення та підтримку обдарованої учнівської молоді, залучення її до наукових досліджень та створення умов для самореалізації творчої особистості.
Від ПДМУ у складі журі працюють:
- доцент кафедри психіатрії, наркології та медичної психології ПДМУ – Володимир Борисенко (секція «Психологія»),
- доцент кафедри сімейної медицини і терапії ПДМУ – Ігор Іваницький (секція «Медицина»)
Захист у секціях «Медицина» та «Психологія» проходить безпосередньо на базі ПДМУ. Крім того, конкурсанти з інших дисциплін беруть участь у секціях:
- «Англійська мова» – на базі Полтавського університету економіки і торгівлі,
- «Хімія» – на базі Полтавського державного аграрного університету.
Конкурс МАН дає учасникам змогу продемонструвати свої наукові знання, дослідницькі навички та творчий підхід до вирішення завдань у різних галузях науки.

Round I of the All-Ukrainian Junior Academy of Sciences Competition Launches at PSMU
On December 19, 2025, Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) hosted the opening of Round I of the All-Ukrainian Competition-Defense of Research Projects by students who are members of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (JAS).
The competition aims to identify and support gifted school students, encourage their involvement in scientific research, and create opportunities for the self-realization of creative young minds.
Representing PSMU on the jury are:
Volodymyr Borysenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology (Section Psychology), Ihor Ivanytskyi, Associate Professor of the Department of Family Medicine and Therapy (Section Medicine).
The project defenses in the Medicine and Psychology sections are taking place on the premises of PSMU.
In addition, participants from other disciplines are competing at partner institutions:
English Language – Poltava University of Economics and Trade,
Chemistry – Poltava State Agrarian University.
The JAS competition provides participants with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their scientific knowledge, research skills, and creative approach to solving problems across various fields of science.
