З огляду на актуальність проблеми поширення вірусних гепатитів та їхнього впливу на здоров’я населення викладачі кафедри мікробіології, вірусології та імунології Полтавського державного медичного університету спільно зі здобувачами освіти медичних факультетів № 1, 2 та стоматологічного факультету провели тематичну зустріч до Всесвітнього дня боротьби з вірусними гепатитами під гаслом «Знаємо, а отже свідомо діємо!».
У межах заходу було представлено презентацію та інформаційні повідомлення щодо епідеміології, патогенезу й профілактики вірусних гепатитів А, В, С, D та Е. Особливу увагу приділили сучасним підходам до специфічної й неспецифічної профілактики, своєчасного виявлення й лабораторної діагностики вірусних гепатитів.
Гасло зустрічі «Знаємо, а отже свідомо діємо!» підкреслило важливість обізнаності та відповідального ставлення майбутніх медичних працівників до питань профілактики й раннього виявлення вірусних гепатитів.
Захід відбувся у межах відзначення 105-річчя Полтавського державного медичного університету.

PSMU Held a Thematic Meeting Dedicated to World Hepatitis Day
Given the ongoing relevance of viral hepatitis and its impact on public health, the academic staff of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of Poltava State Medical University, together with students of Medical Faculties No. 1 and No. 2 and the Faculty of Dentistry, organized a thematic meeting dedicated to World Hepatitis Day under the slogan “We Know, Therefore We Act Consciously!”
As part of the event, participants delivered presentations and informational reports on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, and prevention of viral hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E. Special attention was paid to modern approaches to specific and non-specific prevention, timely detection, and laboratory diagnostics of viral hepatitis.
The slogan of the meeting, “We Know, Therefore We Act Consciously!”, emphasized the importance of awareness and responsible attitudes among future healthcare professionals toward the prevention and early detection of viral hepatitis. The event was held within the framework of the celebration of the 105th anniversary of Poltava State Medical University.
