4 червня 2026 року в Полтавському державному медичному університеті відбулася традиційна зустріч ректора ПДМУ Вячеслава Ждана зі студентським активом університету.
У зустрічі взяли участь представники Студентського парламенту ПДМУ, волонтерських загонів «Єдність» та «Almino», Студентського наукового товариства (СНТ), Української медичної студентської асоціації (УМСА) та студентської профспілки. Також були присутні перший проректор з науково-педагогічної роботи Валентин Дворник, проректор з навчальної роботи Давид Аветіков та проректор з науково-педагогічної і виховної роботи Валерій Похилько.
На початку діалогу ректор наголосив на важливості прямої комунікації зі студентським активом як формату, що сприяє більш предметному обговоренню актуальних питань та напрацюванню практичних рішень. Поточні питання студентського життя й організації освітнього процесу адміністрація університету розглядає у робочому порядку на постійній основі. Також він ознайомив студентів із особливостями роботи університету в умовах воєнного стану.
Окремо Вячеслав Ждан відзначив успішні результати складання іспитів КРОК 1, КРОК 2 та КРОК 3 здобувачами освіти університету у 2026 році.
Під час зустрічі студенти порушили низку актуальних питань, що стосувалися організації освітнього процесу, проходження виробничої практики, формування розкладу занять, проведення навчання під час повітряних тривог, умов проживання у гуртожитках, а також можливості та організаційні аспекти військової підготовки студентів стоматологічного факультету.
Окрему увагу приділили питанню розвитку студентських просторів. Зокрема, обговорили подальше облаштування нещодавно відкритого простору «Green Hub» у гуртожитку № 1 та розширення його функціональних можливостей, зокрема підключення до мережі Wi-Fi.
Частину порушених питань вдалося вирішити безпосередньо під час зустрічі, інші – були взяті адміністрацією університету до опрацювання.
Голова волонтерського загону «Almino» Ярослав Катриченко поділився враженнями від спілкування, зазначивши, що розмова пройшла у конструктивній і доброзичливій атмосфері, а частину порушених питань вдалося вирішити прямо під час зустрічі, що зробило діалог особливо результативним.
Голова Студентського парламенту ПДМУ Ольга Резніченко підкреслила важливість таких форматів спілкування між студентством та адміністрацією університету: «У мене залишилися позитивні враження від зустрічі. Ми розуміємо, що окремі питання потребують часу та додаткових можливостей для вирішення, особливо в умовах воєнного стану. Водночас важливо, що студентів чують, з нами комунікують, а всі актуальні питання обговорюються та беруться до уваги».
На завершення зустрічі Вячеслав Ждан привітав студентів із завершенням навчального року, побажав успішного проходження практики, відпочинку та нових здобутків у наступному навчальному році.

PSMU Rector Meets with Student Leaders
On June 4, 2026, Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) hosted a traditional meeting between Rector Viacheslav Zhdan and the University’s student leaders.
The meeting brought together representatives of the PSMU Student Parliament, the Unity and Alminovolunteer teams, the Student Scientific Society (SSS), the Ukrainian Medical Students’ Association (UMSA), and the Student Trade Union. Also in attendance were First Vice-Rector Valentyn Dvornyk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Davyd Avetikov, and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Extracurricular Activity Valerii Pokhylko.
At the beginning of the discussion, the Rector emphasized the importance of direct communication with student representatives as a format that enables more focused discussion of current issues and the development of practical solutions. He noted that matters related to student life and the organization of the educational process are continuously addressed by the University administration on a regular basis. The Rector also informed students about the specific features of the University’s operation under martial law.
Viacheslav Zhdan separately highlighted the successful performance of PSMU students in the KROK 1, KROK 2, and KROK 3 examinations in 2026.
During the meeting, students raised a number of important issues concerning the organization of the educational process, industrial placements, class scheduling, the conduct of teaching during air raid alerts, living conditions in student dormitories, as well as opportunities and organizational aspects of military training for students of the Faculty of Dentistry.
Particular attention was paid to the development of student spaces. Among the topics discussed was the further enhancement of the recently opened Green Hub in Dormitory No. 1, including the expansion of its functionality and the provision of Wi-Fi access.
Some of the issues raised were resolved directly during the meeting, while others were taken under consideration by the University administration for further action.
Yaroslav Katrychenko, Head of the Almino Volunteer Team, shared his impressions of the meeting, noting that the discussion took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere. He emphasized that several issues were successfully addressed during the meeting itself, making the dialogue particularly productive.
Olha Reznichenko, Chair of the PSMU Student Parliament, highlighted the importance of such communication formats between students and the University administration:
"I was left with very positive impressions from the meeting. We understand that some issues require time and additional resources to be resolved, especially under martial law. At the same time, it is important that students are heard, that communication with us is maintained, and that all current issues are discussed and taken into consideration."
At the conclusion of the meeting, Viacheslav Zhdan congratulated students on the completion of the academic year and wished them success in their practical training, a pleasant vacation, and new achievements in the coming academic year.
