Кафедра українознавства та гуманітарної підготовки ПДМУ провела інформаційно-просвітницький виховний захід, присвячений вшануванню пам’яті видатного державного діяча Симона Петлюри.
У 2026 році в Україні на державному рівні вшановують 100-річчя Дня пам’яті Симона Петлюри відповідно до Постанови Верховної Ради України від 18 грудня 2025 року №4748-ІХ.
Симон Петлюра – видатний український державний, політичний та військовий діяч, Голова Директорії УНР та Головний Отаман військ і флоту Української Народної Республіки.
Під час вивчення вибіркового компонента «Українознавство» кафедра організувала для студентів І курсу ОПП «Медицина» перегляд відеолекції «Код незламності від Симона Петлюри: цінності, що тримають націю».
Лекція викликала у здобувачів освіти значний інтерес та жваве обговорення історичних подій доби УНР. Студенти активно висловлювали власні думки, аналізували історичні події та давали оцінку рішенням і діям тогочасних керівників України в період боротьби за українську державність.
Захід став важливою складовою просвітницької та виховної роботи ПДМУ, спрямованої на формування історичної пам’яті, патріотичної свідомості та громадянської позиції майбутніх медиків.

Educational Event Dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Symon Petliura Held at PSMU
The Department of Ukrainian Studies and Humanitarian Training of Poltava State Medical University organized an informational and educational event dedicated to honoring the memory of the prominent statesman Symon Petliura.
In 2026, Ukraine marks the 100th anniversary of the Day of Remembrance of Symon Petliura at the state level in accordance with the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dated December 18, 2025, No. 4748-IX.
Symon Petliura was an outstanding Ukrainian statesman, political and military leader, Head of the Directorate of the Ukrainian People’s Republic, and Supreme Commander of the Army and Navy of the Ukrainian People’s Republic.
As part of the study of the elective course “Ukrainian Studies,” the Department organized a screening of the video lecture “The Code of Resilience from Symon Petliura: Values That Sustain the Nation” for first-year students of the Educational and Professional Program “Medicine.”
The lecture sparked significant interest among students and led to lively discussions about the historical events of the Ukrainian People’s Republic era. Students actively expressed their own opinions, analyzed historical developments, and evaluated the decisions and actions of Ukraine’s leaders during the struggle for Ukrainian statehood.
The event became an important component of the educational and awareness-raising activities of Poltava State Medical University, aimed at fostering historical memory, patriotic consciousness, and civic responsibility among future medical professionals.
