19 лютого 2026 року на кафедрі гістології, цитології та ембріології ПДМУ відбувся І етап Всеукраїнської студентської олімпіади з ОК «Гістологія, цитологія та ембріологія», який проходив під назвою «Тріумф гістології як крок до вершин морфології» для здобувачів освіти II курсу ОПП «Медицина», «Педіатрія», «Медицина» СНТН та «Стоматологія» СНТН. Захід відвідав в.о. декана міжнародного факультету Олександр Люлька.
Олімпіада передбачала оцінювання у кількох напрямках:
- письмова відповідь;
- діагностика препаратів та електронограм;
- розв’язання тестів II рівня;
- вирішення задач з банку даних «Крок 1».
За результатами конкурсу було відібрано шість переможців:
I місце – Діана Антонюк (4 група, II курс, ОПП «Медицина»);
II місце – Антон Фесенко (1 група, III курс, ОПП «Медицина» СНТН) та Марія Шевченко (20 група, II курс, ОПП «Педіатрія»);
III місце – Денис Пустяк (1 група, II курс, ОПП «Стоматологія» СНТН), Іван Васильченко (10 група, II курс, ОПП «Медицина») та Олена Білокінь (10 група, II курс, ОПП «Медицина»).
Захід відбувся у теплій та доброзичливій атмосфері, що сприяло розкриттю потенціалу кожного учасника. Такі олімпіади не лише стимулюють особистісний розвиток студентів, а й формують дружнє, згуртоване середовище, що є основою професійної медичної спільноти.

The First Stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Histology, Cytology and Embryology Successfully Concluded
On February 19, 2026, the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology of Poltava State Medical University hosted the First Stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the academic component “Histology, Cytology and Embryology,” held under the title “The Triumph of Histology as a Step Toward the Heights of Morphology.” The event was organized for second-year students of the educational programs “Medicine,” “Pediatrics,” “Medicine” (English-medium program), and “Dentistry” (English-medium program). The event was attended by Acting Dean of the International Faculty, Oleksandr Liulka.
The Olympiad included assessment in several areas:
written response;
identification and diagnosis of specimens and electron micrographs;
Level II test tasks;
problem-solving tasks from the “Krok 1” database.
Based on the results of the competition, six winners were selected:
First Place – Diana Antoniuk (Group 4, Year II, “Medicine”);
Second Place – Anton Fesenko (Group 1, Year III, “Medicine,”) and Mariia Shevchenko (Group 20, Year II, “Pediatrics”);
Third Place – Denys Pustiak (Group 1, Year II, “Dentistry,”), Ivan Vasylchenko (Group 10, Year II, “Medicine”), and Olena Bilokin (Group 10, Year II, “Medicine”).
The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, which contributed to unlocking the potential of each participant. Such Olympiads not only stimulate students’ personal development but also foster a supportive and cohesive environment that forms the foundation of a professional medical community.
