25 вересня 2026 року свій 60-річний ювілей відзначає доцент закладу вищої освіти кафедри акушерства і гінекології № 1 Полтавського державного медичного університету, кандидат медичних наук, лікар-акушер-гінеколог вищої кваліфікаційної категорії Валентин Васильович Талаш.
Колектив кафедри акушерства і гінекології № 1 та адміністрація Полтавського державного медичного університету щиро вітають Валентина Васильовича з ювілеєм і бажають міцного здоров’я, професійної наснаги, нових наукових здобутків, вдячних пацієнтів та успіхів у педагогічній діяльності.
Професійний шлях Валентина Васильовича у ПДМУ розпочався у 1993 році (тоді – ПМСІ). За роки роботи в університеті він поєднав викладацьку, наукову, клінічну та організаційну діяльність. У 2004 році захистив кандидатську дисертацію, а з 2011 року працює на посаді доцента кафедри акушерства і гінекології № 1. Загальний стаж науково-педагогічної роботи становить 28 років.
Важливою сторінкою професійної діяльності Валентина Талаша стала робота на адміністративних посадах: у 2009–2016 роках він був заступником декана медичного та міжнародного факультетів. Нині на кафедрі відповідає за лікувальну роботу та є куратором академічної групи. Організаторські здібності, відповідальність і вміння працювати зі здобувачами освіти знайшли своє продовження і в подальшій роботі на кафедрі.
Як викладач Валентин Васильович проводить лекційні, практичні та семінарські заняття зі здобувачами освіти різних курсів і спеціальностей. У своїй педагогічній роботі поєднує ґрунтовну теоретичну підготовку з практичним досвідом, використовує сучасні мультимедійні та дистанційні технології навчання.
Не менш вагомою складовою його професійної діяльності є наукова робота. Коло наукових інтересів Валентина Талаша охоплює актуальні питання гіперпластичних і запальних процесів у гінекології. Він є учасником міжнародних та всеукраїнських наукових конференцій, співавтором підручника, трьох навчальних посібників, має 8 авторських прав та є автором і співавтором 55 науково-методичних праць.
Професійну діяльність Валентин Васильович поєднує з лікувально-консультативною роботою. На базі Перинатального центру ІІ рівня КП «1-а міська клінічна лікарня» він проводить консультативний прийом пацієнтів та виконує складні оперативні втручання.
Колеги характеризують Валентина Талаша як відповідального, принципового, доброзичливого та вимогливого до себе й оточення фахівця. За роки роботи він здобув заслужений авторитет і повагу серед колег та здобувачів освіти, дотримується принципів академічної доброчесності, професійної етики та медичної деонтології.

Valentyn Talash Celebrates His 60th Birthday: PSMU Obstetrician-Gynecologist, Scholar and Lecturer
On 25 September 2026, Dr. Valentyn Talash, PhD in Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology No. 1 of Poltava State Medical University, and obstetrician-gynecologist of the highest qualification category, celebrates his 60th birthday.
The staff of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 and the administration of Poltava State Medical University sincerely congratulate Dr. Valentyn Talash on his anniversary and wish him good health, professional inspiration, new scientific achievements, grateful patients, and continued success in his teaching career.
Dr. Valentyn Talash began his professional career at PSMU in 1993, when the university was known as the Poltava Medical Stomatological Institute (PMSI). Over the years of his work at the University, he has combined teaching, research, clinical, and organizational activities. In 2004, he defended his PhD in Medical Sciences dissertation, and since 2011 he has held the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1. His total experience in academic and teaching work amounts to 28 years.
An important chapter in Dr. Valentyn Talash’s professional career was his work in administrative positions. From 2009 to 2016, he served as Deputy Dean of the Medical and International Faculties. Currently, he is responsible for clinical activities at the Department and serves as an academic group curator. His organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to work effectively with students have continued to contribute to his work at the Department.
As a lecturer, Dr. Valentyn Talash conducts lectures, practical classes, and seminars for students of different years and specialties. In his teaching, he combines thorough theoretical training with practical experience and uses modern multimedia and distance-learning technologies.
Research is another important component of his professional activity. Dr. Valentyn Talash’s research interests cover topical issues related to hyperplastic and inflammatory processes in gynecology. He participates in international and national scientific conferences, is a co-author of a textbook and three study guides, holds eight copyright certificates, and is the author and co-author of 55 scientific and methodological publications.
Dr. Valentyn Talash combines his academic work with clinical and consulting practice. At the Level II Perinatal Centre of the Municipal Enterprise “1st City Clinical Hospital”, he provides consultations to patients and performs complex surgical procedures.
Colleagues describe Dr. Valentyn Talash as a responsible, principled, friendly, and demanding professional who holds himself and others to high standards. Over the years of his work, he has earned well-deserved authority and respect among colleagues and students. He adheres to the principles of academic integrity, professional ethics, and medical deontology.
