23 червня 2026 року в. о. завідувача кафедри філософії та суспільних наук ПДМУ Світлана Верезомська та начальник навчального відділу Вікторія Каюн з глибокою вдячністю й повагою зустріли здобувачів вищої освіти освітньо-професійної програми «Парамедик» заочної форми навчання – військових медиків Валерію Ловецьку-Алєксєєву та Олександра Туржанського.
Перед початком занять для гостей було організовано ознайомчу екскурсію університетом. Вони відвідали бібліотеку ПДМУ та Музей рідкісних видань, де директор бібліотеки Ольга Боровик ознайомила їх з унікальними медичними стародруками. Також змістовну й захопливу екскурсію Народним музеєм історії ПДМУ провела його завідувачка Таміла Дашевська.
Особливо цінним став щирий діалог під час відвідування експозиції. Гості поділилися щемливими спогадами про складні випадки порятунку побратимів, зокрема із застосуванням сучасних медичних засобів, аналогічні зразки яких представлені в музейній експозиції. Ці історії є нагадуванням про справжню ціну професійності, витримки та людяності.
Щиро дякуємо військовим медикам за службу, стійкість і довіру до університетської спільноти. Великою честю є навчати й водночас навчатися у тих, хто щодня рятує життя.

From Battlefield Experience to Academic Knowledge: Meeting with Army Medical Personnel
On 23 June 2026, Acting Head of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences at Poltava State Medical University (PSMU), Svitlana Verezomska, and Head of the Academic Affairs Office, Viktoriia Kaiun, warmly welcomed and expressed their deep gratitude to army medics Valeriia Lovetska-Alieksieieva and Oleksandr Turzhanskyi, who are part-time students of the Paramedic Educational and Professional Program.
Before the start of classes, the guests were invited on an introductory tour of the university. They visited the PSMU Library and the Museum of Rare Editions, where Library Director Olha Borovykintroduced them to a unique collection of historic medical publications. They also enjoyed an informative and engaging tour of the People's Museum of PSMU History, led by its curator, Tamila Dashevska.
A particularly meaningful moment of the visit was the sincere dialogue that took place during the museum tour. The guests shared moving accounts of challenging rescue operations involving their fellow service members, including the use of modern medical equipment, examples of which are displayed in the museum’s collection. These stories served as a powerful reminder of the true value of professionalism, resilience, and humanity.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the army medics for their service, courage, and trust in the university community. It is a great honor not only to teach, but also to learn from those who save lives every day.
