Полтавський державний медичний університет продовжує цикл профорієнтаційних заходів «Навчаймося. Служімо життю. Відновлюймо надію». 24 березня 2026 року гостями університету стали учні 6–10 класів Великобудищанської загальноосвітньої школи I–III ступенів Диканської селищної ради та учні 7-го класу Ліцею №6 «Лідер» Полтавської міської ради.
Екскурсія розпочалася в народному музеї історії ПДМУ. Директорка музею Таміла Дашевська ознайомила присутніх із розвитком медицини – від первісних емпіричних методів лікування до сучасних досягнень галузі. Вона розповіла про перші медичні знахідки на території Більського городища, еволюцію медичних знань, становлення хірургії, появу знеболення та удосконалення хірургічних інструментів. Особливу увагу приділили видатним ученим, які зробили вагомий внесок у розвиток медицини та її еволюцію до наших днів.
Відвідувачі ознайомилися з експонатами музею, серед яких особливо звернули увагу на старовинну бормашину, стоматологічний артикулятор HANAU (моделі 130-1 – 130-21, 1936 року), локацію з предметами виїзного кабінету стоматолога початку 90-х років, локацію з артефактами сучасної війни, привезеними з фронту викладачами та здобувачами освіти, а також дізналися про історію університету від його заснування до сьогодення та видатних науковців ПДМУ.
Наступною локацією став музей кафедри оперативної хірургії та топографічної анатомії. Аспірант Владислав Олексієнко розповів про колекцію анатомічних препаратів органів і тканин, що зберігаються у фіксувальному розчині формаліну та активно використовуються у навчальному процесі. Він також продемонстрував сучасний 3D-атлас анатомії та розповів про впровадження симуляційних технологій у навчання майбутніх лікарів.
Гості відвідали операційну, де мали змогу ознайомитися з хірургічними інструментами та їх призначенням, а також дізнатися про особливості лапароскопічних методів оперативних втручань.
У анатомічному музеї кафедри анатомії людини школярі побачили сухі та вологі препарати, експонати нервової та серцево-судинної систем, колекції черепів, а також зразки ембріонів і зародків на різних етапах розвитку. Старший лаборант кафедри Віталій Стриженок розповів про рідкісні препарати та тривимірні моделі органів, що активно використовуються у навчанні.
На кафедрі гістології учні досліджували мікроскопічну будову тканин і клітин людського тіла, розглядали гістологічні препарати, працювали з мікроскопами та досліджували будову клітин і тканин. Майбутні абітурієнти отримали шанс спробувати себе в ролі дослідників і відчути, як вивчають структуру людського тіла на рівні тканин.
Наприкінці екскурсії школярі отримали інформаційні матеріали про ПДМУ та зробили спільне фото на пам’ять про захопливу подорож університетом.

From Primitive Methods to 3D Atlases: Career Guidance Tour for Pupils at PSMU
Poltava State Medical University continues its series of career guidance events titled “Learn. Serve Life. Restore Hope.” On March 24, 2026, the university welcomed pupils of grades 6–10 from Velyki Budyshcha Secondary School of I–III degrees of the Dykanka Village Council, as well as 7th-grade pupils from Lyceum No. 6 “Leader” of the Poltava City Council.
The tour began at the People’s Museum of the History of PSMU. The museum director, Tamila Dashevska, introduced the visitors to the development of medicine—from primitive empirical treatment methods to modern achievements in the field. She spoke about the earliest medical findings discovered at the Bilske hillfort, the evolution of medical knowledge, the emergence of surgery, the introduction of anesthesia, and the advancement of surgical instruments. Special attention was given to prominent scientists who made significant contributions to the development of medicine and its evolution to the present day.
Visitors explored the museum exhibits, paying particular attention to an antique dental drill, the HANAU dental articulator (models 130-1 – 130-21, 1936), a reconstructed mobile dental office from the early 1990s, a display of artifacts from the ongoing war brought from the front by faculty and students, and the history of the university from its founding to the present day, including its distinguished scholars.
The next stop was the museum of the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy. PhD student Vladyslav Oleksiienko presented the collection of anatomical specimens of organs and tissues preserved in formalin solution, which are actively used in the educational process. He also demonstrated a modern 3D anatomy atlas and spoke about the integration of simulation technologies into the training of future doctors.
The guests visited an operating room, where they became familiar with surgical instruments and their functions, and learned about the specifics of laparoscopic surgical techniques.
At the anatomical museum of the Department of Human Anatomy, the students observed dry and wet specimens, exhibits of the nervous and cardiovascular systems, skull collections, as well as samples of embryos at different stages of development. Senior laboratory assistant Vitalii Stryzhenok spoke about rare specimens and three-dimensional organ models widely used in teaching.
At the Department of Histology, students explored the microscopic structure of human tissues and cells, examined histological samples, worked with microscopes, and studied cellular and tissue structures. Future applicants had the opportunity to try themselves as researchers and experience how the structure of the human body is studied at the tissue level.
At the end of the tour, the pupils received informational materials about PSMU and took a group photo to commemorate their engaging visit to the university.
