28 вересня 2026 року в Полтавському державному медичному університеті відбулася традиційна зустріч ректора ПДМУ Вячеслава Ждана зі студентським активом. Цей захід став дієвим майданчиком для прямого діалогу між студентською спільнотою та адміністрацією університету щодо актуальних питань навчання та розвитку ПДМУ.
У зустрічі взяли участь представники студентського парламенту ПДМУ, студентських рад факультетів і Навчально-наукового медичного інституту, студентської профспілки, волонтерських загонів «Almino» та «Єдність», а також проректори, декани факультетів і представники Фахового медико-фармацевтичного коледжу ПДМУ.
На початку Вячеслав Ждан поінформував студентів про особливості організації освітнього процесу в умовах воєнного стану та наголосив на важливості якісної підготовки до ліцензійних інтегрованих іспитів «КРОК». Він також додав, що безпека студентів і працівників залишається пріоритетною, водночас важливо використовувати всі доступні можливості для навчання, професійного розвитку та набуття практичних навичок.
Під час відкритого діалогу студенти порушили питання організації освітнього процесу та практичної підготовки, створення додаткових можливостей для самопідготовки, умов проживання в гуртожитках, діяльності студентського самоврядування, а також участі у професійних заходах і можливостей підтримки таких поїздок.
Вячеслав Ждан відповів на порушені студентами питання, окресливши можливості університету та подальші кроки щодо окремих пропозицій. Частину порушених питань він пообіцяв вирішити найближчим часом. Разом з тим ректор наголосив на відкритості до подальшого діалогу та готовності спільно зі студентами працювати над актуальними для них темами.
На завершення ректор подякував учасникам за конструктивне спілкування. Зустріч завершилася спільним фото на згадку.

Open Dialogue: PSMU Rector Meets with Student Leaders
On September 28, 2026, Poltava State Medical University held a traditional meeting between PSMU Rector Viacheslav Zhdan and student leaders. The meeting provided an effective platform for direct dialogue between the student community and the university administration on current issues related to education and the development of PSMU.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the PSMU Student Parliament, faculty student councils and the Educational and Research Medical Institute, the student trade union, the volunteer teams “Almino” and “Yednist,” as well as vice-rectors, faculty deans, and representatives of the PSMU Professional College of Medicine and Pharmacy.
At the beginning of the meeting, Viacheslav Zhdan informed the students about the specifics of organizing the educational process under martial law and emphasized the importance of thorough preparation for the integrated licensing examinations “KROK.” He also noted that the safety of students and staff remains a priority, while it is equally important to make full use of all available opportunities for education, professional development, and the acquisition of practical skills.
During the open dialogue, students raised issues concerning the organization of the educational process and practical training, creating additional opportunities for self-study, living conditions in student dormitories, student self-government, as well as participation in professional events and opportunities to support travel to such events.
Viacheslav Zhdan responded to the issues raised by the students, outlining the university’s capabilities and further steps regarding specific proposals. He promised to address some of the issues in the near future. At the same time, the Rector emphasized his openness to further dialogue and readiness to work together with students on topics that are important to them.
At the end of the meeting, the Rector thanked the participants for the constructive discussion. The meeting concluded with a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
