На кафедрі пропедевтики внутрішньої медицини Полтавського державного медичного університету, яку очолює доктор медичних наук, професор Юрій Казаков, відбулася виховна зустріч зі здобувачами вищої освіти 2 курсу 8 групи, присвячена Дню піхоти України.
День піхоти України відзначається щорічно 6 травня. Пам’ятну дату встановлено Указом Президента України у 2019 році з метою вшанування мужності та героїзму військовослужбовців механізованих, мотопіхотних і гірсько-штурмових підрозділів Сухопутних військ Збройних сил України. Пам’ятна дата має історичне підґрунтя та пов’язана з перемогою козацьких військ у битві під Жовтими Водами 1648 року.
Захід провела кандидат медичних наук, доцент Зінаїда Борисова. Почесними гостями зустрічі стали військовослужбовці – батько й син Сергій Вікторович та Артем Сергійович, які є прикладом мужності, сили духу та відданого служіння Україні.
Особливим духовним моментом заходу стало благословення, яке звершив протоієрей Сергій Сущенко – медичний капелан, що служить у Полтаві. Він благословив військових, здобувачів освіти та науково-педагогічних працівників університету, побажавши всім миру, сили духу й Божого захисту.
Під час зустрічі здобувачі вищої освіти мали можливість поспілкуватися з військовими, почути їхні історії та глибше усвідомити ціну свободи, незалежності й мирного життя.
Зворушливою частиною заходу стало виконання авторського вірша, присвяченого Дню піхоти України, який написала кандидат медичних наук, доцент кафедри пропедевтики хірургічної стоматології Олена Дубровіна. Поетичні рядки прозвучали як щирий вияв вдячності й шани українським воїнам за їхню мужність, незламність і відданість Батьківщині.
Наприкінці зустрічі студенти привітали захисників України віршами та квітами, висловивши щиру вдячність за їхню службу та героїзм.
Фото- та відеозйомка під час заходу здійснювалася за попередньою згодою учасників. Матеріали використовуються лише з виховною та патріотичною метою.
Колектив кафедри висловив вдячність завідувачці відділення реабілітаційного центру Комунального підприємства «Полтавська обласна клінічна лікарня ім. М. В. Скліфосовського Полтавської обласної ради», лікарю-невропатологу вищої категорії Світлані Гриценко за сприяння в організації заходу.
Захід став проявом вдячності та шани захисникам України, які мужньо боронять державу, захищають майбутнє молодого покоління та наближають перемогу.

Educational Meeting Dedicated to the Day of the Infantry of Ukraine Held at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine of PSMU
An educational meeting dedicated to the Day of the Infantry of Ukraine was held at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine of Poltava State Medical University, headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Yurii Kazakov. The event brought together second-year students of Group 8.
The Day of the Infantry of Ukraine is celebrated annually on May 6. This commemorative date was established by a Presidential Decree of Ukraine in 2019 to honor the courage and heroism of servicemen of mechanized, motorized infantry, and mountain assault units of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The date also has a historical background connected with the victory of the Cossack troops in the Battle of Zhovti Vody.
The event was conducted by Associate Professor Zinaida Borysova, PhD in Medical Sciences. Honored guests included servicemen — father and son Serhii Viktorovych and Artem Serhiiovych — who serve as examples of courage, strength of spirit, and devoted service to Ukraine.
A special spiritual moment of the meeting was the blessing delivered by Archpriest Serhii Sushchenko, a medical chaplain serving in Poltava. He blessed the military personnel, students, and academic staff of the university, wishing everyone peace, spiritual strength, and God’s protection.
During the meeting, students had the opportunity to communicate with the servicemen, hear their personal stories, and gain a deeper understanding of the value of freedom, independence, and peaceful life.
A particularly moving part of the event was the performance of an original poem dedicated to the Day of the Infantry of Ukraine, written by Associate Professor Olena Dubrovina, PhD in Medical Sciences, the Department of Propaedeutics of Oral surgery. The poetic lines sounded as a sincere expression of gratitude and respect to Ukrainian soldiers for their courage, resilience, and devotion to their homeland.
At the end of the meeting, students congratulated the defenders of Ukraine with poems and flowers, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their service and heroism.
Photo and video recording during the event was carried out with the prior consent of the participants. The materials are used solely for educational and patriotic purposes.
The department staff also expressed gratitude to Svitlana Hrytsenko, Head of the Rehabilitation Department of the Municipal Enterprise “M. V. Sklifosovsky Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital of the Poltava Regional Council” and a neurologist of the highest qualification category, for assistance in organizing the event.
The meeting became a manifestation of gratitude and respect for the defenders of Ukraine, who courageously defend the state, protect the future of the younger generation, and bring victory closer.
