У межах міжнародного проєкту THEA Ukraine Lead відбулися Міжнародна онлайн-конференція та баркемп THEA Ukraine Lead 2026, присвячені питанням підтримки українських закладів вищої освіти в умовах воєнного часу та післявоєнного відновлення. У заході взяли участь завідувач кафедри іноземних мов з латинською мовою і медичною термінологією Олена Бєляєва та доцент Іванна Знаменська.
Організаторами заходу виступили Мюнстерський університет прикладних наук (Німеччина) і Сумський державний університет (Україна).
Увагу було зосереджено на розвитку сучасних управлінських і лідерських практик в університетському середовищі та створенні гідних і сталих умов праці для науково-педагогічних працівників і співробітників закладів вищої освіти.
Під час конференції було розглянуто актуальні питання управління університетами в умовах сучасних викликів, спричинених війною в Україні. Особливу увагу було приділено питанням підвищення ефективності університетського менеджменту, розвиткові лідерських компетентностей керівників різних рівнів, забезпеченню психологічної стійкості академічної спільноти, а також пошуку ефективних стратегій відновлення та подальшого розвитку системи вищої освіти.
Формат заходу передбачав проведення інтерактивних дискусій і сесій баркемпу, що сприяло активному обміну досвідом між представниками українських і зарубіжних університетів, обговоренню кращих практик управління та пошуку нових можливостей для міжнародної співпраці.
Участь у заході дозволила ознайомитися з сучасними підходами до управління закладами вищої освіти в кризових умовах, обговорити практичні кейси з представниками українських і зарубіжних університетів та отримати напрацювання, які можуть бути використані в освітньому процесі ПДМУ та подальшому розвитку університету.

PSMU Faculty Members Participate in the International THEA Ukraine Lead 2026 Project
As part of the international THEA Ukraine Lead project, the International Online Conference and Barcamp THEA Ukraine Lead 2026 were held, focusing on supporting Ukrainian higher education institutions during wartime and in the post-war recovery period. The event was attended by Olena Bieliaieva, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages with Latin and Medical Terminology, and Associate Professor Ivanna Znamenska.
The event was organized by Münster University of Applied Sciences (Germany) and Sumy State University (Ukraine).
The discussions focused on the development of modern management and leadership practices in the university environment, as well as on creating decent and sustainable working conditions for academic staff and employees of higher education institutions.
During the conference, participants addressed current issues related to university governance in the context of the challenges caused by the war in Ukraine. Particular attention was paid to improving the effectiveness of university management, developing leadership competencies among administrators at various levels, ensuring the psychological resilience of the academic community, and identifying effective strategies for the recovery and further development of the higher education system.
The event format included interactive discussions and barcamp sessions, which encouraged active exchange of experience among representatives of Ukrainian and international universities, discussions of best management practices, and the exploration of new opportunities for international cooperation.
Participation in the event provided an opportunity to familiarize themselves with contemporary approaches to managing higher education institutions under crisis conditions, discuss practical cases with colleagues from Ukrainian and foreign universities, and gain valuable insights that can be applied in the educational process at PSMU and contribute to the University’s further development.
