В рамках програми академічного обміну Erasmus+ доцент кафедри мікробіології, вірусології та імунології ПДМУ Марія Фаустова та завідувачка кафедри хірургічної стоматології та щелепно-лицевої хірургії взяли участь у міжнародному заході «UVigo International Staff Week2026», який проходив 4–8 травня 2026 року в Університеті Віго (Іспанія).
У межах програми учасники обговорювали питання інтернаціоналізації закладів вищої освіти, інклюзії, гендерної рівності у вищій освіті, розвитку міжнародної співпраці та впровадження принципів рівності та доступності в освіті. Під час заходу було представлено міжнародний досвід партнерських університетів, проведено тематичні круглі столи, презентації та зустрічі з представниками факультетів і наукових центрів.
Також учасники ознайомилися з діяльністю дослідницьких центрів UVigo, а також взяли участь у міжкультурних та освітніх активностях, спрямованих на розвиток академічного партнерства.
Участь у заході відкрила перспективи для розширення міжнародної співпраці ПДМУ, налагодження нових академічних контактів, підготовки спільних наукових проєктів та програм академічної мобільності для викладачів і студентів.

PSMU Faculty Members Join UVigo International Staff Week 2026 within Erasmus+ Program
As part of the Erasmus+ academic exchange program, Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology at PSMU, Mariia Faustova, and the Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery participated in the international event “UVigo International Staff Week 2026,” held on May 4–8, 2026, at the University of Vigo (Spain).
During the program, participants discussed issues related to the internationalization of higher education institutions, inclusion, gender equality in higher education, the development of international cooperation, and the implementation of principles of equality and accessibility in education. The event featured presentations of international experience from partner universities, thematic round tables, presentations, and meetings with representatives of faculties and research centers.
The participants also became familiar with the activities of UVigo research centers and took part in intercultural and educational activities aimed at strengthening academic partnerships.
Participation in the event opened new prospects for expanding PSMU’s international cooperation, establishing new academic contacts, and developing joint research projects as well as academic mobility programs for faculty members and students.
