30 квітня о 10:30 у центральній читальній залі університетської книгозбірні відбудеться презентація книги випускника ПДМУ, лікаря-інфекціоніста Романа Пономаренка «Інфекції всюди. Застуда, герпес та інші сусіди людства».
Про автора:
Роман Пономаренко закінчив ПДМУ (тоді УМСА) у 2018 році, після чого проходив інтернатуру з інфекційних хвороб. Наразі він – лікар-інфекціоніст, який працює як із дітьми, так і з дорослими, займається діагностикою та лікуванням інфекційних хвороб. Автор блогу про інфекційні захворювання @doctor_influenza.
Спираючись на доказову медицину та практичний досвід, у своїй книзі просто й доступно розповідає про найпоширеніші інфекції, їхні прояви та алгоритми дій у разі діагностування відповідного захворювання. Від ГРВІ, грипу та герпесу до гепатитів, ВІЛ та навіть холери. Також йдеться про те, як уникати небезпек і коли варто звернутися до лікаря.

A PSMU Graduate to Present a Book on Infectious Diseases in the University Library
On April 30 at 10:30, the central reading hall of the university library will host a presentation of a book by a PSMU graduate, infectious disease physician Roman Ponomarenko, titled “Infections Are Everywhere. The Common Cold, Herpes, and Other Neighbors of Humanity.”
About the author:
Roman Ponomarenko graduated from PSMU (former UMSA) in 2018, after which he completed an internship in infectious diseases. He is currently an infectious disease physician who works with both children and adults, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. He is also the author of the blog on infectious diseases @doctor_influenza.
Drawing on evidence-based medicine and practical experience, in his book he explains in a simple and accessible way the most common infections, their symptoms, and the algorithms of action in case of diagnosis of a particular disease—from acute respiratory viral infections, influenza, and herpes to hepatitis, HIV, and even cholera. The book also discusses how to avoid risks and when it is necessary to consult a doctor.
