17 лютого 2026 року волонтерський загін «Єдність» Полтавського державного медичного університету завітав до дитячого відділення онкогематології та ендокринології Полтавської дитячої міської клінічної лікарні.
Метою заходу стала морально-психологічна підтримка дітей, які проходять тривале лікування. Для маленьких пацієнтів волонтери-медики підготували розважальну програму з інтерактивними елементами, що дозволило створити атмосферу радості та щирих емоцій.
Голова ВЗ «Єдність» Ая Бустанжі висловила щиру вдячність університету за можливість організувати захід та всім, завдяки кому вдалося створити позитивну атмосферу для дітей.
«Посмішка дитини – це маленька перемога, яка має велике значення. Ми й надалі працюватимемо над тим, щоб у складні періоди життя поруч із маленькими пацієнтами залишалися турбота, підтримка та щире людське тепло», – підкреслили волонтери.
Захід приурочили до Міжнародного дня онкохворої дитини, який відзначають щороку 15 лютого, підкресливши важливість уваги, підтримки та солідарності з дітьми, які борються з тяжкими хворобами.

PSMU “Yednist” Volunteers Brighten the Day of Young Oncology Patients
On February 17, 2026, the volunteer group “Yednist” of Poltava State Medical University visited the Pediatric Department of Oncohematology and Endocrinology at the Poltava Children’s City Clinical Hospital.
The purpose of the visit was to provide moral and psychological support to children undergoing long-term treatment. The medical student volunteers prepared an engaging entertainment program with interactive elements, helping to create an atmosphere of joy and sincere positive emotions for the young patients.
The Head of the “Yednist” volunteer group, Aya Bustanji, expressed sincere gratitude to the university for the opportunity to organize the event and to everyone who contributed to creating a positive atmosphere for the children.
“A child’s smile is a small victory that carries great meaning. We will continue working to ensure that during the most difficult periods of life, young patients are surrounded by care, support, and genuine human warmth,” the volunteers emphasized.
The event was dedicated to International Childhood Cancer Day, observed annually on February 15, highlighting the importance of attention, support, and solidarity with children fighting serious illnesses.
