21 квітня 2026 року на базі Полтавського державного медичного університету відбулася Всеукраїнська науково-практична конференція «Актуальні питання діагностики і лікування пацієнтів в практиці сімейного лікаря та педіатра», приурочена до 50-річчя кафедри педіатрії №2.
Захід об’єднав провідних науковців, практикуючих лікарів, викладачів і молодих дослідників з різних регіонів України. Конференція проходила у змішаному форматі – очно та дистанційно, що дозволило залучити широку аудиторію учасників.
З вітальними словами до учасників звернулися ректор університету, професор Вячеслав Ждан та директор Департаменту охорони здоров’я Полтавської ОВА Віктор Лисак. У своїх виступах вони відзначили вагомий внесок кафедри педіатрії №2 у підготовку висококваліфікованих лікарів та розвиток сучасної педіатричної науки.
Ректор ПДМУ, професор Вячеслав Ждан наголосив:
«Передусім хочу висловити щиру вдячність нашим захисникам і захисницям, які дають нам можливість жити, працювати та розвивати медицину, наближаючи перемогу. Сьогоднішній захід присвячений розвитку медицини та стала результатом спільної роботи колективу ПДМУ, кафедри педіатрії, наших випускників і майбутніх лікарів.
Цей рік є особливим для університету – ми відзначаємо 105-річчя. Попри всі виклики, які довелося пережити – пандемію, сучасні загрози – ми продовжуємо працювати, розвиватися та забезпечувати належний рівень медицини на Полтавщині й в Україні, орієнтуючись на світові стандарти.
У цьому контексті варто відзначити вагомий внесок кафедри педіатрії №2, яку очолює Тетяна Крючко, у розвиток медичної науки та педіатрії в Україні.
Тож я щиро вітаю колектив кафедри з ювілеєм і бажаю міцного здоров’я, наснаги, витримки та якнайшвидшого здійснення нашої спільної мрії – Перемоги й миру в Україні».
За багаторічну бездоганну працю, сумлінне та якісне виконання своїх посадових обовʼязків, високу професійну майстерність, вагомий внесок у розвиток медицини, національно-патріотичне виховання молоді університету, з нагоди 105-річчя Полтавського державного медичного університету ректор Вячеслав Ждан нагородив доцента кафедри педіатрії №2 Ольгу Ткаченко нагрудним знаком «Відзнака ректора». Співробітники кафедри педіатрії були відзначені подяками ректора.
Програма конференції була насиченою та охоплювала актуальні питання сучасної педіатрії та терапії: від інфекційних захворювань і гастроентерології до алергології та доказової медицини. Під час конференції прозвучали доповіді провідних вітчизняних фахівців, зокрема професорів О.П.Волосовця, В.М.Ждана, І.М.Скрипника, О.Г.Шадріна, О.Є.Абатурова, Г.О.Леженка, Т.О. Крючко та ін., присвячені сучасним підходам до діагностики та лікування педіатричних пацієнтів, впровадженню клінічних протоколів, а також новітнім досягненням у галузі.
Особливу увагу учасників привернула доповідь, присвячена історії становлення та розвитку кафедри, її науковим здобуткам і ролі у формуванні Полтавської педіатричної школи.
Проведення конференції стало важливою подією для професійної спільноти, сприяло обміну досвідом, впровадженню інновацій у клінічну практику та визначенню перспектив подальшого розвитку педіатрії.
Ювілей кафедри педіатрії №2 є не лише підсумком плідної багаторічної роботи, а й символом наступності поколінь, наукового поступу та відданості справі охорони здоров’я дітей.

All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference Dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 and the 105th Anniversary of PSMU
On April 21, 2026, the Poltava State Medical University (PSMU) hosted the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference “Current Issues in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Patients in the Practice of Family Physicians and Pediatricians,” dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2.
The event brought together leading scientists, practicing physicians, educators, and young researchers from various regions of Ukraine. The conference was held in a hybrid format—both in person and online—which enabled broad participation.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Rector, Professor Viacheslav Zhdan, and Director of the Department of Healthcare of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Viktor Lysak. In their speeches, they emphasized the significant contribution of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 to the training of highly qualified physicians and the advancement of modern pediatric science.
Rector of PSMU, Professor Viacheslav Zhdan, noted:
“First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our defenders, who make it possible for us to live, work, and develop medicine, bringing victory closer. Today’s event is dedicated to the advancement of medicine and is the result of the joint efforts of the PSMU team, the Department of Pediatrics, our graduates, and future doctors.
This year is special for the university—we are celebrating our 105th anniversary. Despite all the challenges we have faced—the pandemic and current threats—we continue to work, develop, and ensure a high standard of medical care in the Poltava region and across Ukraine, guided by global standards.
In this context, it is worth noting the significant contribution of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2, headed by Tetiana Kriuchko, to the development of medical science and pediatrics in Ukraine.
Therefore, I sincerely congratulate the department’s staff on their anniversary and wish them good health, inspiration, resilience, and the swift realization of our shared dream—Victory and peace in Ukraine.”
For many years of impeccable service, diligent and high-quality performance of professional duties, outstanding professional excellence, significant contribution to the development of medicine, and national-patriotic education of university youth, on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of PSMU, Rector Viacheslav Zhdan awarded Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2, Olha Tkachenko, with the “Rector’s Distinction” badge. Other staff members of the department received letters of appreciation from the Rector.
The conference program was rich and covered current issues in modern pediatrics and therapy, ranging from infectious diseases and gastroenterology to allergology and evidence-based medicine. Presentations were delivered by leading national experts, including Professors O.P. Volosovets, V.M. Zhdan, I.M. Skrypnyk, O.H. Shadrin, O.Ye. Abaturov, H.O. Lezhenko, T.O. Kriuchko, and others. Their reports focused on modern approaches to diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients, implementation of clinical protocols, and the latest advancements in the field.
Particular attention was drawn to a presentation dedicated to the history of the department’s establishment and development, its scientific achievements, and its role in shaping the Poltava pediatric school.
The conference became an important event for the professional community, fostering the exchange of experience, the implementation of innovations in clinical practice, and the identification of future directions for the development of pediatrics.
The anniversary of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 is not only a summary of many years of fruitful work, but also a symbol of continuity of generations, scientific progress, and dedication to child healthcare.
